From the morning I heard terrible artillery sounds from Brovary direction. It's 13 km from my house. More than two hours of heavy guns salvos. Now mostly quiet, but sometime single or double artillery shots heard. On the horizon in Zalissia area something burning. 
At the eraly morning Russians hit residential building in Obolon' - northern district of Kyiv. Artillery shell. Two killed, 3 wounded, 9 traumatized.

 
Also there was either missile or artilery strike at Antonov aviation plant in the western part of the city - 2 killed, 7 wounded
AD reportedly hit two targets over Kyiv and Kyiv oblast. One of them as if a missile. 
Upd. Results of missile interception. It fragments fell on the road and 5-storey building. Trolley is destroyed (fortunately it hadn't the passengers). Alas, one dead, five injured

Considering they cant seem to find their logistical arse with both hands and The Greatest Army In The World(tm) I highly doubt their "hunt" will be anything special, any more cruel than bombing a maternity hospital and most likely just more of the same aimless blundering around the countryside as the 1st Ukrainian Tractor Army takes its grim toll. 
And the idea that the Geneva Convention is adhered to by Russia is just another dumb joke.

Kadyrov's recon squad was ambushed. Some of their equipment partially off-road car, upgraded AK-103 with RDS, GM-94 grenade launcher, specially developed in Russian in 90th years as universal weapon for special forces of Internal troops (now Rosgvardia) - both for urban combat (HE, HEAT and thermobaric grenades) and police work (tear-gas grenades and rubber bullets). 

There's an argument out there that no negotiation with the Russian government should be taken seriously until well after the troops actually withdraw. I endorse it.

And yet Ukrainians aren't maximizing anything.
OSINT efforts calculated more than 1100 destroyed vehicles based just on photo/video evidence (meaning there are times more than that)
If you calculate losses just based on that - it easily adds up to 12k casualties at the least.
Press is uneducated in milspeak and think "casualty" means death. But we in CM community certainly know what it means.
Being that average dead/wounded ratio is 1:3 - US numbers are the same at the least and considerably higher at the most.

UKR troops ambushed Russian convoy (on the second photo at least KAMAZ and some armor seen on the background)  and captured MTU-90 bridge layer. Jusdging of the writing "For Okhtyrka" on the vehicle, made by our soldiers, this is Sumy oblast around this town
MTU-90 is adopted in 1997. It maintains a passage of 24 m length for vehicles up to 50 tons of weight

They literally are not worth the logistical cost of importing them. On the off chance this isn't pure hype though, I want tape of them experiencing their first cold, wet night in Ukraine That will probably take care of ten or twenty percent of them right there

OKKO gas station on SW outskirt of Zalissia village (Shield of Kyiv campaign place). After this ambush enemy column of 6th GTR will go further to Skybyn village, and there it will come under artillery strike, which you can see on a video day ago. Indeed all this actions took place 8-9th of March. Russians attacked from two directions: from Semipolky-Zalissiya-Skybyn on E95 highway advanced ВТG of 6th GTR and from Ploske - Hoholiv direction advanced  BTG of 239th GTR and units of 228th MRR with support of units of 400th SP-howitzer regiment. All units are from 90th GTD. Russians forced Trubizh river recently and established positions on it western bank on the line Zavorychi-Mokrets-Kulazhyntsi. UKR forces conducted several probes (like on video with KORD police wipe out 2 tanks with RPG-7) and probably hit enemy column with artillery or aviation on Trubizh river approx. on 8th of March. There is knowingly we lost one Mi-24 in airstrike near Kulazhyntsi. Next day enemy launch the offensive on Brovary and it result you could see on the video. Probaby a video of the strike of the column from Hoholiv direction will come soon.
