Yes, certainly well deserved. Output for this year is stellar, to say the least. Update 5 and Commonwealth module to get CM:FB to VE-Day would be very nice topics for 2022. I guess they also have an idea or two about what comes next in their pipeline.

Yep. Several times I've seen them say that they don't view the early war as a profitable enough subject matter.
It would almost be more accurate to say that BFC has promised not to make an early war module!

since the Marder IFV had it's 50th anniversary last week I wanted to point out some minor visual details regarding the differences between the 1a3 and 1a5 model. Currently both models look similar in game. Code-wise the 1a5 has its improved mine protection working though.
So if you take a closer look at the attached images the 1a5 model should have:
new armored skirts three metal boxes, one on the front and two on the backside new MLC, 42 instead of 37

If you set-up a shooting range in the editor for 4km and let 20 soviet tanks cautiously advance to 20 M48A5 or M60A1 tanks, everything except T64Bs and T80Bs will get butchered by M48A5s or M60A1s. Mostly at ranges between 3k and 2,5k. The tested T64Bs and T80Bs only survive because their AT-8 Songsters kill most of the M48s or M60s at 4k distance. If you do the test with T64B1s and T80B1s the result is totally different. I guess the devs have to look into this a little closer.
Would reality have been like that, there would have been no need to introduce the 120mm smoothbore to NATO forces back then.

Friendly reminder that if you want to see a module at all, get your friends to buy Cold War. The better it sells, the more likely the chance of a module!

The more the merrier. Wouldn´t mind to have the dutch and belgians in that module also.

Not sure what to think or say, but I can appreciate your words more than those of the forum members who in the past months and years tried to defend the indefensible, ridiculed people who rightly were annoyed by the endless delay and tried to give the impression everything was as it should be. They should be even more embarrassed than BFC.
I personally feel that BFC did not hold up their end of the bargain with me as a customer of their products. The fact that Charles FINALLY said no does not impress or console me at all. 

Slitherine and Steam are very enthused about Cold War and played a big part in pushing for the very quick turnaround. Slitherine, being a proper company, is used to operating on deadlines. We're on track to hold up our end of the bargain, what Slitherine and Steam are doing on their end is beyond my field of vision.
Progress on Fire and Rubble, by comparison, is being driven by embarrassment that its taken so long. Its now a matter of self esteem that we get this darned thing out the door at last. A couple months back there was a request for significant 'other' work ('other' work has plagued the F&R schedule) and Charles said no. No more interruptions. We finish what we got and deal with other stuff later.

I don't blame him for the endless delay (anymore). I've become convinced he's doing his utmost. I blame BF as a whole though. This is no way to treat one's customers.
But honestly, for my part they can release FR in a couple of months or even later than that. Let's go for a Christmas release! 😉
But as a symbolic and empty gesture from my side I won't pre-order Cold War. I'll buy it when the other NATO forces turn up. Not interested to play US or USSR.

This week is perfect for release.
