  1. My father was on a Destroyer in the North Atlantic. He was 17 when he signed up after graduating early. One uncle on my mothers side was shot down while piloting p40s for the RCAFover North Africa. He spent 4 years in a German POW Camp. Another uncle was at Guadalcanal. My fathers best man had a couple of Spitfires shot out from under him during the Battle of Britain. And yes I know I am youngish to have tales of such (I am 31)...however my siblings are all much older than I. Perhaps an issue with tactics? B

  4. Very good. Well then I will have to borrow the wifes card and make sure I get the Xmas present I wish. Thanks for the info Moon. B
  5. Is this game only available through Battlefront? Will it be hitting retail through CDV like its breatheren CMBO and CMBB? Will it be available through retail outlets such as gamespot and EB? My thanks. B
  6. From my understanding it was upwards of 1200. It was commonly so fast that you could not hear the individual shots. I saw a neat bit from a training film for the US Army. Basically saying that just because a lot of bullets were flying was no reason to stop what you were supposed to be doing. After all more bullets means less accurate (according to the film). I love those vintages bits from History Channel. B
  7. I have been playing on the 500pt at the start of the war June 41. I have found that this gives you a good mix. The size is a bit bigger than a couple of platoons or a single company...however I have found it the best to learn the combined arms that you will need later on. 2 Infantry units pounding on each other does offer a challenge but add some armor, support or other vehicle and it changes the tactics incredibly. Just my 2 cents. B
  8. Wargamer.com has the 2nd part of the after action report from CMAK... http://www.wargamer.com/articles/cmak_aar_part2/ B
  9. Well I wasnt going to lay the fault for CMAK entirely on these forums...The previous 2 games certainly have gotten my blood stirred to battle on the African Soil. Course a couple of other sites have also been getting me worked up. B
  10. Hello all. I finally have logged in and registered so that I may take part in the glorious discussions on this board. I have lurked for quite some time. This board has been very influential. It caused me to purchase CMBO(Special edition)....It caused me to wait expectantly for and eventually purchase CMBB(special edition). Thank you all and hopefully I will speak to you soon.
