Amen to that! It frustrated the heck out me at first. Graphics were poor on my machine too but I learned to work with that. Love the game now. Now i am on a Mac so the frustration is starting all over but that is because of the different operating systems. Graphics are outstanding now! AND CW is not for Mac yet.

Just found TOW1 in my closet, loaded it and can get the opening screen if I insert the DVD only. Won't open from the desktop. When I hit play, nothing happens. The install never asked for the code number on the sticker on the package. Running Vista on 1 yr old Lenovo laptop. I am running it as Administrator.

But what if he really meant "morals"? What if your soldiers normally frequented taverns of questionable reputations dressed in only leather motorcycle chaps and ship captains hats, had tattoos of satanic cults on thier derriere, and didn't practice safe sex procedures. Surely thier effectiveness and ability to even make it to the battle ground might be compromised. If they don't leave you the handcuff key it is hard to get back to the barracks on time... Just a thought.

Another way to enjoy the game is to dress the part. Put on a helmet, pistol belt with canteen, first aid pouch, and a beer can in each ammo pouch. If you have any opposite sex neighbors invite them over as hostages, You win, you get to interrogate them. You lose, they exact thier revenge. Or play the hot seat with them. Each piece of armor destroyed results in surrendering a uniform item. Endless possibilities.... you'll enjoy the game.

Its not mentioned in the manual but if you look closely in the graphics, only the lead tank has a clean barrel. The rest are black. This is due to the lead tank stopping quickly when first shot at and the following ones ram into the rear of the one ahead. Same thing happens in shower lines at large prisons....
