  1. 1)Why turret back numbering system doesn't work?

    If you use different images of the turret, the game is mixing the back turret box with other turret images. Even if the back box number is on the same image as the side number. Result: the back box number and side numbers are different :-(

    1) Curious, I hope BFC could fix that 'cause the bmp is not shared, I think it use the same randomly system than uniform & gear!

    2) It seems 226-227 & 310-315 doesn't exist historicaly.

  2. Patboy, where can we get this beautiful map? (And is there a scenario with it?)

    I have only had a quick glance at permanent666's new Omaha Beach scenario/map over the noon hour, but his didn't seem to have as much of a curve to the beach and his didn't seem to have high ground on the flanks like your picture shows.

    mjkerner, Map comes from Omaha beach, Vierville Draw Attack scenario, and I modded the background for better look, I just cheated !

  3. If mines are marked, they can be safely traversed at lower speeds.

    I didn't know that, thanks, I think I must use large smoke screen to cross this bridge, 'cause I think my soldiers at lower speed will be decimated , what's happen for tanks and vehicles lower speed too?

  4. I'm wondering what the engineers do in the game if they cannot remove the mines?

    I know they can blow walls, buildings, hedges & bocages, some obstacles too but only to mark mines!

    I don't know if this has been already discussed before, but I'm very desapointed by the issue.

    It's hard on small maps to try encirclement if all ways, roads & rows are blocked by mines that's almost unplayable!

    What do you do when you must cross an only minen bridge under fire of MG42, 81 mm & 120 mm mortar? (I've seen that in campain scenario) I'm desperate (sigh)!

  5. I have already fiddled around with some of those and USUALLY the game doesn't crash. If it does, you can fix everything by simply removing them anyway.

    The possibility to exchange one MDR for another, though, opens up some interesting modding possibilities, though - it's just a lot of work to see what can actually be done and what can't. I'm curently playing around with the soldier equipment files...

    I'm wondering if we could use mdr. files to have more different vehicles in game,(as we can have with helmet) same vehicle but with different camo, numbering etc etc...?
