  5. I am encountering a lot of problems when I try to change those wrong colonial helmet assigned to the italian paratrooper in North Africa by CMAK. I have a photo of the Folgore (paratrooper) at El Alamein in which is clear they didn't wear the typical colonial saharianan helmet. http://www.webalice.it/ultramontano/folgore.jpg Seems that for all the italian troops in NA the CM engine use the same shape (like a bell). Someone know how is possible tho implement this mods?

  14. Thanks Runyan99, Yes, the area was almost completely flooded so I thougth to use fords and marsh. However there are some paths that vehicles can follow to cross the valley. I would represent the diffuculty that the armour found to get the river . I will take in account you suggestion.
  15. .. is available at the http://www.the-proving-grounds.com It could seems too heavy and oppressive .. rain, mud, marsh, flood, a greyish landscape, a desert of fortified mountains . 17. Hey synchro, I am just designing an operation that cover the first battle of Montecassino , those that start the 24 jan 45 and was fought by the 34th American infantry division. My source is the book "Cassino, Portrait of a Battle" written by Fred Majdalany. The plot is an advance in open space in the flooding valley of the rapido river an then the attack of the fortified position of the hills at north of Montecassino. It was very hard for the allies . In my plan it will be composed by 6 battle and the whole map cover a square of 2,5x2,5 Km at the north of Cassino in the Rapido valley. I am quite satisfied of the map, it look very realistic but the debugging of the operation take me a lot of time. Before to get it available at the proving grounds I would appreciate any help in this stage, the work is heavy, so if someone is interested I can send my file to share whit him the development
  18. Really, I have seen recently some thread against Italians, the Pope and so on .. However I have to admit that this forum is more cerrect than others (for ex IL2 , a game that I love).
  19. The church are always in the center of te village bat the cemetery often are far away (except the villages in AltoAdige/SudTirol were was attached the curch). In the 40s there was not highway anywere in Italy. The street between the mid/big town was in asphalt but all the other wasn't. Usually the railway station was in the center. bye cg
