I have an Asus 7" EEE, and in this year I can see the new Netbooks, really pretty, here my next 500 euro computer: Gigabyte m912 Netbook 10" Tablet-Touch panel: http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Products/Notebook/Products_Spec.aspx?ProductID=2835 but how many games you can play in a Netbook?: not to much, not REAL TIME of course, the have low capacities. I wanna call the attention of BATTLEFRONT to take in mind this type of HARDWARE, perfect for Turn based games, to develop their NEW GAMES, and to make a LITTE version of Combat Mission Gold Edition.   5. First thank for the help Sirocco. It is strange and simply, but I remove the "INTRO File" from "Data" and eureka! the game run perfect now. ?!!   6. Same here. I can not start the demo and I see a black screen. I change my 5.900 XT for a new buy 7.600 GT and I have the same problem now. before with the 5.900 XT I can play the demo with low resolution. But now with the 7.600 GT I can not play the same DEMO no matter what nvidia drivers I use: 93.71; 94.24; 162.18. I pick the demo , can not start the intro nor the demo. See a black screen and only ear the same music, and I must to shut down the computer. Athlon XP 3.200+ 2.191 MHZ Windows XP SP2 Nvidia 7.600GT AGP

  8. I fully agree with feature like rewind the movie. It does not matter if the game is turn based , real time or First person shooter to rewind the movie.
  9. Not turn based... But is possible a pause to REWIND de Video? . Not only to see where are all elements along the action, to SEND ORDERS too (Human vs AI mode, not multiplayer).
  10. Congratulations BF , but you surprise me: Why you developers select a near Fictional and not a near Historical battle?

In a same way of "area fire", maybe a help to the waypoint system could be an "area of dispersion": The player will put the far waypoint with the knowledge of the RISK to be imprecise of where he arrive exactly (area dispersion). In the example: the platoon move in a City -The player start in the "waypoint 1" (green area of arrive) -The player do not know exactly where is the "waypoint 4" (red area of arrive) that is out of LOS.   13. add an early war isn't a bad choice... "Normandy US beachheads" plus "Blitzkrieg in poland" would be perfect as "First Game". After that BF could develop all the "modules" about all theaters of operations of WW2 including modules of east front or pacific front: Stalingrad,Okinawa,Cassino,etc,etc furthermore we can see in this first game what we can expect about: Tactical bombers sea landing operations Paratroopers Cavalry etc. Then BF will be free to make NEW GAMES: 1-Game about "post cold-war": as "Kuwait War" plus "Falklands war". 2-Game about "Rifles & Sabres": as "Napoleon in Leipzig" plus "Gettysburg". 3-Game about "Swords and Chariots": as "Attila and the Battle of Chalons" plus "Alexander and the battle of Gaugamela" etc,etc,etc. a mark of "Game" or "Module" could be: -a "new game" could be "two campaigns". -a "module" could be "one campaign".   18. about "God" problem: Instead the player can select: -"unit to next target" what about if the player must select -"target to next unit" and more, -"Target to unit and next unit" -"Cover arc to unit and next unit" -"Area to unit and next unit" CMX2 also could avoid the necessity to have LOS in many cases!! why not? :confused: [ March 03, 2005, 01:22 PM: Message edited by: Halberdiers ]

Developers or someone please (maybe I'm lost the post): There will be in CMX2 an unknown information about the battlefield TERRAIN ,for example an unknown destroyed bridge or unknown steep slope?.
