  1. Thats OK mate,I just thought you might've wanted a few rivers and places where the kiwis actually were but when its all said and done,it is fictional,so it doesnt really matter its set.Looking forward to giving it crack.
  2. How about the Lamone River near Faenza?that was Nov 1944.Cassino feb-march 1944.Orsogna Dec 43-jan 44.Arno river near Florence,Aug 44.All of these places the kiwis saw some hard fighting. could you please send me the scenario when its done?It sounds like a lot of fun.
  3. And let the Maori Btn do a Haka before every battle.
  4. Hmmm.. You've just described the Vietnam war there.
  5. If you're talking about France 1917,you'd be bang-on,condescending manner and all. But if you're talking about 1944,the only Kiwis in france were RAF pilots(generally Typhoons).Besides the average kiwi soldier in WW2 would usually tell the Pommy Bastard to piss off.
  6. Well, telling us we are nearly as good as british regulars(thats from WW1 just after Gallipoli). Only problem with your scenario is that Gen.Freyberg, the NZ Commander, had a Charter saying that If he felt that orders from his British commanders weren't in the best interests of the Div. i.e could be slaughtered, he could refuse those orders and consult with the NZ Government. 10. If you can find them,The World At War TV series had episodes on Eastfront.
  11. I would love to recreate Kohima and the fighting in Burma\India.Plus it would'nt be too hard to do landing craft would it?
  12. It's kinda funny,I ordered CMBB a couple of months ago thru Milsims in OZ and they sent an email back saying they didn't have it in stock and we'll put it on back order. Any way I gave up on BB cos'CMAK was coming out and being a kiwi Its my main area of interest,so I've ordered CMAK(thru Battlefront).A package from OZ arrived on Tuesday,CMBB special edition! Looks like its Urahhh! as well as Heia Safari! [ December 05, 2003, 11:13 PM: Message edited by: Pinetree ]
  13. why should I think? It only hurts and gets me into trouble.Look at Dalem, when he thinks, I can hear him scream from here.
  14. They aren't the only ones. I'm pretty sure both the Egyptians and the Pakistanis still currently employ the MG34/42. </font>
  15. I've never played CMBO,I've had a crack at the CMBB demo and, while enjoying it,didn't purchase it as EastFront isn't my thing.I will be buying CMAK however as I'm really interested in the history of 2NZ Div. and this game has the entire Theatre where they fought.
  16. Why make anyones day any less miserable than my own?Come to think of it,you've just made my day slightly less miserable by me making your day slightly more miserable. Thanks Mate!
  17. I am crawling over the still-warm bodies of ones exhausted sheep to grovel at thy feet and kiss thy bunyons to beg forgiveness.Does this please thou?My Liege?
