  3. the Stryker vehicle is also extremely vulnerable to even the most antiquated direct fire kinetic energy guns. i.e. those model 1944 85mm guns from the soviet union will be dangerous to strykers

  8. i've had actual FF occur at a night battle in CMBO friendly squad targeted another friendly squad, for like 30 seconds.
  9. or how about throwing time limits out of the window entirely or adding no limit as an option. if you elect to have no timelimit the engine would determine when to end the game according to if objectives are met or if either commander surrenders his forces.

I actually have the Männer Gegen Panzer video that details an assault of a German infantry position by Russian tanks ( about 4 t-34 with supporting infantry and a KV1 ) the infantry is stripped away with long range rifle fire and the tanks are dealt with one by one. The German infantry use Tellerminen with grenade fuzes ( fuze well in the side of the mine ) as large anti-tank frisbees. They also have the 3kg charges, use smoke grenades ( the glass ones ) and a smoke-bola to blind the tanks. the KV is taken out by a tellermine at the end by placing it under the overhand of the turret.
  11. possible in CMX2? IIRC the swedes and the brits have a mortar fired laser guided anti-tank projectile, would that be possible in CMX2?

  13. i remember seeing a propaganda video of a Gebirgsjäger unit attacking a Russian town. They show footage of a Pak 36 firing at a BT-7 and knocking it out. Later than that they show several 150mm IG with their guns at very high angles firing on some trenches.
  14. not to mention hulks remaining on the maps in scenarios/campaigns and the ability to use them as cover.
  15. say you've got the regular Sturm platoon in CMBB HQ has 1x MP-40 and 3x MP-44 squads have 2xk98 4x MP-44 1x MG-42 or something like that looking at the real KSTNs you see that each Sturm squad has NO lmg but rather EVERYONE has an assault rifle. would we be able switch between each depending on the situation, at differing cost or am i reading you wrong Battlefront.com?
  16. i see also ten people per squad max, 15 teams max so the theoretical maximum is 150 people
  17. {EDIT} also in Close Combat the moral can go above normal, soldiers can become heroic or fanatic ( depending on the circumstances ) and become unaffected by incoming fire ( to pin status at least, they still die, and usually die fast because they don't take cover ) in Close Combat you can see the one guy in the squad with the HHL rush toward the T-34 and place it on it. That would be the COOLEST thing to see in CMX2, in 3d.
  18. in Close Combat the individual soldiers are tracked in all their aspects ( grenades, bullets left, morale, health status [ wounded, incapacitated, dead... not hitpoints ] LOS to enemy etc. ) albeit in a 2D fashion also if a trooper in Close Combat runs out of ammo, he will pick up a fallen trooper's weapon, be the trooper friendly or foe. and that was close to 6 ( more? ) years ago, I'm SURE technology has advanced far enough to power the same system in 3D
  19. i think what we all want is a turn based Close Combat III in 3d, with maybe a bit bigger scale ( instead of 2 platoons with support a full company with support elements )
