  1. HI mate, this might happen when you convert a map, change setup-zones or change the Attack/defend parameters. It suck, and I don´t know if I can be altered.
  2. Lovely - time to revisit the opening moment in the war!
  3. ohoi, indeed the fog appeared at the battle-field. Yay! But out went the smoothing of the rough edges? And I couldn´t get it right, so I went back to 6.14. Anyone got it right?
  4. I´ve always loved city-fights and the concept 'the last stand' - so I´ve tried to make a scenario where the russians are outnumbered but without loosing the excitment and challenge, regardless of the side. Fictional H2H-battle or as Axis vs. AI. Background: November 1943, Eighty miles west of Kiev, the 4th Panzer Army, still convinced that the Red Army was a spent force, was able to mount a successful riposte at Zhitomir during the middle of November, blunting the Soviet bridgehead via a daring outflanking strike mounted by the SS Panzer Corps along the river Teterev. This battle enabled Army Group South also to recapture Korosten and just gain some time to rest - but on Christmas Eve the retreat began anew. The German got a force ready to grab the last objective in Korosten, but can the russians hold out until the reinforcments arrive? In this case the reinforcent is a timelimit and the germans have to capture the area in 25 minutes without losing to much of the troops. The russians got a somewhat a smaller force, but instead a 500p VP bonus, 4 large flags and a goal to hold out and delay the germans. H2H or Axis vs. AI. And a special thank you to the playtesters at the Proving Grounds: Bannon DC The Enigma Andlett John Buford Stoffel Scenario Depot

  6. Hi folks, just posted some new QB-maps at Scenario Depot and a Map Pack at CMMODS . You can take a look at WAW - World at War for pics and some descriptions. For your gaming pleasure gents - I´ve had some lovely battles on these maps. So I´m sharing the fun, and hope you´ll blast away on them!
  7. Lovely!!! Btw. nice map there, which scenario is it?
  8. Hi there. I´m making a scenario right now and I stumble upon two problems that really annoys me. Maybe my fault, i don´t know. Im really bewildered..ok, here goes: 1. I have two big and spacey setup zones, one for the russians and one for the germans and the tanks places themself correctly in the editor but not the infantry. The infantry drops smack down in the middle of the map, outside the setup zone. And they get a grey base-plate and are tightly packed together. And I can reposition them one by one... 2. The russians are all looking the wrong way. Dont know why, cause I´ve setup the friendly edges and all... I got rid of the stacking problem when I scaled down the map from 2 km x 2 km to like 1.5 km x 1.5 km, and had a new setup zone. But the units still looked the wrong way. I´ve stumbled across this problem once before, in another scenario but I dont remember how I managed to get rid of the problem. So, any ideas?
  9. Website is down. Is it possible to ask for an email? Thanx in advance. per@voluspa.se
  10. Look for the AARs at this site. Very good if you want to take a look how different people handle tactics and strategy. http://forums.mzocentral.net//index.php?showforum=96 It just hit me, but this must be one of the most friendly forum I´ve ever experienced. Cudos to the lot of you!

  13. Can somebody help me out with the correct bmp´s for the dry steppe. In view 1 and 2 i get some strange looking stretched out brushes all over the steppe...dont know what have happend, but I guess somewhere along my modding tests something went wrong. Can anyone help me out?
  14. Thank you all for sharing these explosive tibits. When the russians attacked the area around Narva there where some heavy artilley blasting the place before the assault commenced, and I guess its not either realistic and fun trying to represent that in the CM engine. However, I´m going to try to illustrate the situation with a combination of casualties and a hefty-preplanned barrage from the russian side. So, the the russians setup may include something like this: 3 x 76 mm artillery 3 x 82 mm mortar 1 x 120 mm mortar and maybe a 132 mm rocketramp. And again, thanks for the extensive information.
  15. Hi there! I´ve just read a book about the SS Nordland defensive battles around Narva ´44, and have roughly sketched up a battle in the editor. But I´m wondering about how much artillery the russians had supporting a division fighting a entrenched german? And how much artillery the germans had left in ´44? Any ideas would be really appreciated.... Cheers!
/lurks [ October 07, 2003, 08:31 AM: Message edited by: Bubonicus ]
