  1. The two available infantry units are of rather large size, this would consume a lot of man power. This takes large numbers of men to form one unit. Say that I want to form a defensive line along a 5 hex front, but due to the force pool I can only build an army or a 3 corps, this leaves a large gap in the line. To fix this maybe a division size unit can be created. This would use less men, but give more units to cover a front. Maybe the option to stack divisions and create corps or stack a few corps to create an army could also be created. The last idea may be a bit detailed for those who like the simple play of SC, but its only a dicsuusion.
  2. What about the idea of capturing enemy ships that are in port. Several times against the AI and human opponents I have found enemy ships in port, but could only attack them. I think that if a groung unit attacks a ship in port it should have a chance of capturing that ship at reduced strength to simulate the battle for the ship. The enemy could also be given the option to scuttle the ship to prevent capture, similar to what happened to the Graf Spee.
  3. The first was Charlemagne's Roman Catholic Empire, the second was Bismarck's rule.
  4. When I rty to take a research point away from one area of research and put it on another the pop up asks if I would like to reclaim the point. What's the deal? Thanks in advance.
  5. I played a game of SC and when I exited the game my monitor was still showing the screen as stretched like in the game. Thanks in advance.
  6. This tactic is for the Axis and works best against the AI. As soon as the game starts declare war on Denmark. Use your cruisers to attack them in order to gain valuable xp and cost the Brits some money as they will keep reinforcing the Corps in Denmark. While doing this play the rest of the game as you would(attack Ppoland). You won't need the Navy anyway until you attack Norway. This is really nice since eventually you will have to face the Russian Fleet, but you'll have the edge with four ribbons of xp.
  7. This is a gamey tactic you can use with the Axis, it works best against the AI. As soon as the game starts declare war on Denmark and use your cruisers to attack denmark. This will gain valuable xp for the ships and cost the Brits some money as they will keep reinforcing the Corps ther. While you are doing this you can still play as normal with the ground forces attacking Poland, because the Navy is useless against them anyway.
  8. Iwas wondering two things. First, how long should it take to get Poland to surrender? Second, how many units should someone invade Russia with(minimal)? Thanks in advance.
