Exactly. Could not have put it better myself. I do find these forums extremely confusing. I can never work out when people are joking.Originally posted by Snow Leopard:I am glad you understood. I stand corrected....at first glance I assumed your post was for the Porn Forum. You're obviously posting in the correct forum. I, on the other hand, am reading the wrong forum.

Hey Kingfish - how are these coming on? Just got the book

Yep, don't know why but this round seems very slooooooooooow on the whole.

Aaaaaaaaaarrrrrrgggggggghhhhhhhhhhh     Scenario Designers - Hell is too good for you!
-
I really liked St Eds as the Axis - however, if the Allied player is cautious at the start then by the time he assaults the Axis reinforcements are already in place - that's how our game panned out - not so much an Axis counter as a full on defence. Cool scenario though.
-
Great job guys...all memorable fights...the artillery in Highlanders....the hedge in Maleme...the bridge & reinforcements in Moltke....the noises in the dark in Edouards...happy days!
-
Nice AAR GAJ - Glad to see the South of Vevi still in your thoughts

Noooooooooooooo! You're the winner Dawg....simple as that. Do NOT withdraw!Originally posted by Dawg Bonz:I am withdrawing from the ROW V finals. I am sure Kingfish can figure out who really should advance to the finals for Group 7.

Well said Sir!
Although I'm not sure anybody is really grousing...from what I see they all acknowledge it's a top tourney!
Of course if like in ice skating they gave points for artistic impression (being killed in style?) I would have done much better.
-
Strange..I actually enjoyed Maleme the most - playing as Axis...I seem to be in the minority though.
-
LOL...ditto in my game...except I was Allied! The Axis reinforcements had been attacking me for two turns before I even saw them...my focus was all on that bridge.Originally posted by Elmar Bijlsma:*probably a lot more fun if I had noticed the reinforcments I received across the river. DOH!

Satan, Lucifer, Mephistopheles and Beelzebub?Originally posted by Kingfish:BTW, does anyone want to guess as to who the designers are for the first 5 scenarios?
-
Dawg - before I read your AARs I will close the curtains, turn down the lights and pour myself a large one
-
It is released on DVD.
-
Yep...thanks to the reserves....it can't be easy taking over part way through a fight.
-
also the orientation of the spotter can make a difference - so the more you have covering all the angles the better.
-
The more spotters the better - hide none - have them all on short covered arcs - the more info you're getting from multiple spotters the better. What benefit are you getting from hiding them? Unless they fire they will not be seen anyway.
-
Redwolf and I are listed twice under Triangle...does this mean a double point bonus?
-
Hurrah - finished all games - doffs hat to designers and bows - can I start to cut down on the medication now?
-
The turns slow down...the jokes speed up

Now that's what I call poetry.Originally posted by Dawg Bonz:ROW moves tomorrow after dreams of romantic roe tonight.

Not annoyed at all. Nothing memorable to say either...much like yourself...although I've said nothing memorable in far less posts than you.Originally posted by Wartgamer:Well its either I am one thing or another. No pleasing everyone thats for sure.
I forget. Have you ever had anything memorable to say? You seem sarcastic and annoyed.
