it seems to on a par with the Squad leader sewar rules, very risky, i never used it in squad leader and i used sewar moves once in CMBB with poor results.

Hi, as explained by Madmatt, "I" personally was not banned, but my AOL IP number was (and still is), and this does mean that i could only read the forums and not post, this creates a new problem in that i could not reply to any answers given to any questions that i had asked, this i felt would be impolite, anyway to cut a long story short i have managed to get in using IE. (if you guys never hear from me again, it shall mean that the powers that be have cut that connection too). all in all it is a bit worrying that someone can be banned from a forum just because someone else misused an old IP address that has since been allocated to me. surely someone should look into these things before applying a ban, after all as we all know, mistakes can be made. hopefully this can all be put behind now, HEY. how about un banning my AOL IP number?????

how do i reset the modem? i'm using Win XP, at the moment i can get in with Internet Explorer, but my main connection is with AOL, or should i call AOL and ask them to sort it out.

i'm currently banned, any idea why?

Thanks Dandelion,do you live in the US? here in europe the game is shipped by CDV, a German company, swastikas, the SS and all such are forbidden by German law, i just fancied putting the game historically correct on that point.

i see that a patch is available for CMBB to revert the WG back to the SS and also to replace that german flag with the swastika. is there such a patch for CMBO and if so where can it be got?

thanks for the info, I am currently spending some time DL'ing mods for CMMOS and trying different things out, only problem is that there are so many mods out there that it's hard to decide which to get, no worries though it's getting there, which is half the fun.

Hi, i am a definite Newbie and i have a question, i just got the CMBO and it came with MDMP 1 and 2, i unzipped these to my CMBO bmp folder, did i do right? i recently DL'd CMMOS and i wondered if it should have gone in there instead. another query, on the add on cd that came with my CMBO there are several mods, called stand alone mods, do i unzip all of them into my CMBO BMP folder or just one or more of them? or should they be in the CMMOS BMP folder instead? finally for now, using CMMOS which mods come highly reccomended? also how can i tell if they should be unzipped to the CMBO BMP folder or to the CMMOS BMP folder as it does say that older ones should go straight into the CMBO BMP, I'm a bit puzzled. thanks guys for the many and varied responses. i did not have too many problems with the BB demo, i have been a CC3 vet for a couple of years now but i must say that this all seems to be a totally new ballgame. i was in Lincoln earlier (UK not Nebraska) and dived in and bought BO a probable snip at £12.99. yup the manual is a pdf file and so shall possibly cost me a ream of paper and an ink cartridge to print it all, next job is to install the game and see just how tough the AI is (it'll more than likely kick my tea sipping UK Ass) I'll be back later though most probably in the BO forum for the time being. Hi everybody, i'm new around here and i have a question, i am thinking strongly about buying either BB or BO, which is the best one to start with? (this is the bit where everyone says "both")i inderstand that graphically BB should be better, however BO does ship with a cd of extras, which i understand does include graphics improvements, does this improve graphics by much? i do have a decent spec PC if this helps. one other thing, i have the demo for BB, and have been trying it out on a LAN, however it does seem to crash a lot, usually on the joining players PC. the only other thing that we have running is sidewinder gamevoice which has never caused a problem with any other game. is the crashing usual? or is it just the demo? many thanks in advance for any replies, Red
