I disagree with original poster. I like RT, which I consider more realistic than wego, and I don't care at all about QBs. I play wargames to simulate history and therefore play scenarios.So please don't impose your judgement of the games features on me. CMSF is very enjoyable right now and will no doubt get better in the due course of time. -

If I could code games worth a **** I'd do it with cross platform libraries so I could compile for all O/S's. Seems stupid to me to focus on one or two when you can cover all bases. But hey, most devs don't for whatever reason. ID is an exception.Though I don't play FPS's I appreciate that they support Linux. Cool! RedMike...out -

Yes Linux version would be awesome. I had CMx1 running with cedega on gentoo but not well enough. The trouble with Linux is the whole open source thing I guess. Devs don't like it. -

Yes that's right, I love this game! I have CMBO, CMBB, and CMAK, and I definitely positively like CMSF best. Just had to say it cause I can't stand all the negative ink being spilled over it. RedMike...out

...for me. Pentium 4 3.0 GHz cpu 2.5 GB RAM Nvidia 7600 GS 256 MB Seems like all you guys with 64 bit multiple cpu processors are the ones with trouble. That's too bad, cause it's a great game. But I'm sure it will all come right in the end.

I think this is the best 3D wargame I've ever seen! It's really breathtaking. I just installed 2GBs of RAM, a 620W PSU, and an Nvidia 7600 GS card to improve performance and man, what a difference. RedMike...out
