Hello: Just started not working, same in CMBO, CMBB. Hitting forward/back 10 secs just makes it go to 60 seconds so the turn is done. Cannot replay it then. No idea why this is happening now as previously it was fine. Thanks.

Hello All: In CMBB you can TAB a unit and then rotate around that unit. In CMBO, this works too but only for Level 3 and higher. In Level 1 or 2 when you try and rotate (moving cursor to side of screen), the unit will eventually move off screen. Any help appreciated.

I don't think that was ever a possibility. IIRC some recommended using the Rotate tool over the terrain and it would show you where a LOS could be blocked based on the contour of the line? Maybe that doesn't make sense...

An interesting story. Recently I watched the movie Keeper which is about a German POW in England, Bert Trautmann. He played in goal for Manchester City and married an English girl as in your story.

Are you thinking of McMMM? That JSGME I mentioned will also do it.

There is a second option and that is to download and install a local copy (they say no auto updates then but I cannot imagine any updates are coming). Then you can mod it using JSGME for example. Mods at http://cmx1mods.greenasjade.net/mods even though sometimes I have got error messages there.

If not, the other possibility is that there are cheap versions of the cmx1 games on gog and these do work on Windows 10 for sure.

Hello All: This one has Hungarians trying to ford a river and they are supposed to have a platoon of bicycle infantry. Now they are named Hungarian Mechanized Rifle Squads but I do not see any bikes and they do not seem to move faster than foot infantry. Any thoughts on this and how to win this as the Hungarians? Sorry, that is not one. But I think there are operations in there.

I bought CMBB a long time ago and never played much. Bought it again and did the same. Now I bought CMBB and CMAK on GOG but life is very busy for the next year unfortunately so I am only dabbling with small scenarios vs the AI. So unfortunately I haven't got into operations yet. Maybe in the future. We used to play Squad Battles some years ago I believe.

Ken: I am glad you are a pack rat! Would you have them for CMAK and CMBO too? I am getting blank sheets by the way. When I select all and go to change to a black font I can see the data is there but when I actually change the font then it is a blank gray screen. I am using Excel 2019 so maybe a problem with old workbooks? Thanks again. Gerry

I think I may have experienced something like this (and even posted about it here). So the resolution was awful. Bought the gog.com version and it seems better.

Hello: I see this symbol and he seems to indicate a possible enemy unit, in this case a crew but it has been used for Infantry too. Using the gog version of the game. I did not have the original CMAK so I am wondering if this is a standard symbol or some graphics anomaly? Thanks.

Thanks for letting us know about gog. I just saw now in a comment that it is patched only to 1.03 which should be fine they say. I bought it. Thanks again. The reason I asked about patches was, if you see the other threads, people have trouble getting it patched depending on how they acquired the game.
