  1. Hi, I only have the original game - no marines - but would be happy for a PBEM of any size/setup. I will PM you my email. Cheers!
  2. Well here's some news from blogfront: Interestiing....
  3. Marines! Sorry - not sure if this already posted...woo!
  4. As the game is now, with Traditional LOS, this isn't the case.</font>
  5. Hi Pandur, I was waiting to get back into work and then post you a picture if my setup but it looks like you've sorted it out! My cable is like the one here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dNaCP3Ala7c BUT... I soldered the red *AND* white from the 3.5mm end to the red *OR* white on the RCA(amplifier) end (if that makes sense!) and then black/copper to black/copper.
  6. Hi, I think you could be onto something there, whilst the majority of the emphasis should be placed by the scenario designer in the briefings it might be interesting to actually have "neutral" unmovable locked units representing civilians in the building. This could be used as an indicator of casualties caused because at the moment there really is no feedback to discourage indiscriminate use of overwhelming firepower apart from at the debrief. I'm not sure how this would work with spotting rules and I know that CMSF is simulating an invasion where civilians are presumed to be somewhat out of the LOF but then why allow a civvie density setting anyway? If nothing else it would be fun to be evil and call in an air strike on a building full of em' (Just joking!) [ January 20, 2008, 05:15 PM: Message edited by: J_Toe ]
  7. Hmmm...Are you sure that you connected L+R +ive together and to the mono plug and the two -ives together too? - Should be fine although maybe a tiny bit of signal loss. You could try one of these.
  8. But I think that was the answer to this question: I don't know where I stand on providing one myself?!
  9. Sorry for resurrecting a dead thread but is any one still interested in a B+W manual and if so, is there any official word from BFC if I can post it?
  10. Hi after many hours wailing and gnashing teeth trying to get a soundcard to mix stereo to mono on chip with ALSA in Linux, I can tell you that the easiest way to get mono from a stereo source is to sacrifice a stereo cable (from PC to amp) and physically splice the left and right channels together...simple and very effective! 11. Here's another one along the same lines: "Nicey? Nicey?......."
  12. Hi guys, just to add a brief note will post a bit more later ot tom. but I will put up a copy for DL as soon as I manage to shrink down the file size. I've somehow managed to blow it up to a whopping 140MB and don't have the time to sort it now!!
  13. Well, I did think of that, but it isn't easy to do it the way I did for a non techie type. However I may have a way around it involving a touch of scripting and downloading some open source software but It will take me a while to figure that out... Will keep you posted.
  14. But I aint posting anything until Steve or Rune gives their approval!
