  1. Playing B&T High Noon scenario. My light tanks and armored cars can't take a hit from the Pz 38, but the Jeeps! No problem! 40mm High Explosive is nothing against these fine american made bumpers. Sadly he reversed away during this turn after getting hit only to abandon the super-jeep when the stuka singled him out and attacked.
  2. Well remember they're all part of the borg collective here, so if they escape and revert control to the original player I suppose they would immediately start relaying the location of any enemy positions they can see.
  3. I just recently had this problem with a scenario I was playing. There were a set of enemy trenches layed out just behind a very minor rise that flattened out into basically an open field. Units in the trenches could see out just fine but my tanks sitting in the field in front of the rise had LOS to the infantry in the trenches but when they tried to engage them they simply ended up drawing long lines of craters directly towards the enemy about 10m ahead of the trench just before the dip to the trench started. It's almost as if the tank does have LOS but the maingun is 'blocked' from being able to land a shell on the target. Somewhat similar to the 'bow MG blocked' situation when hull down. I suppose such a scenario could be true but it definately sounds like it's a bit too common ofan occurance. In addition I don't think I'm 'hull down' even to these targets according to the game so that type of LOS issue should be void. [ March 13, 2003, 01:49 PM: Message edited by: Cyber ]
  4. I wouldn't jump up and down too much about that 80% rarity factor. I just bought 2 KV-1S for a scenario in July '43 and rarity was only 30%. But they're still quite expensive and on that scenario blew my entire budget for armor (couldn't sqeeze anymore into the armor limit). Now I'll be the first to admit these are nasty tanks. Becket certainly knows this after I stomped all over his armor with them. The only concern I've seen using them so far (I admit it, I'm a noob so I could easily be wrong) is that they don't seem to be very easy to even get a track hit on and immobilize. I'm not sure how frequent something like that is on other tanks, but Becket has gotten 4-5 track hits on one of my KV-1 tanks in my game with him and it's still moving. Though I think his track hits where from his silly little AT Rifle team that I was ignoring while I chased down his last PzIII so probably not damaging enough. The other thing you need to remember about them is compared to your Panzers they're SLOOOOOW. Super slow, they don't turn fast, thier turrets aren't fast, nothing about them is quick. They're tough tanks, espicially early on in the war, but they're not invincible.

Ienakonrad since as Mace pointed out you seem to have plenty of time to post mindless drivel here maybe you would like to pry yourself away from this forum long enough for me to rain fiery death down on your troops. It shouldn't be difficult given it must take all your merger mental energy to think of your next string of babble to post here, leaving little thought for guiding those uncivilized Neanderthals you call troops. If you accept, since it's going to be a resounding defeat no matter what you do, you can choose the location and conditions for the battle. [ February 23, 2003, 01:48 AM: Message edited by: Karg ]
  6. *sits in bin pondering what someone has to do to get game at around here.*
  7. The road to hell is paved by the bleached bones of insignificants like you Grue, feel like joining them?
  8. If Konrad isn't giving you the fiery death you deserve quickly enough for your tastes Moraine Sedia, I'd be happy to send my tanks on a short detour to crush your pitiful forces on my way to the front. -Karg
