  1. Are you sure? As you noted, there is no icon or other indication the tank-hunter teams are fielding RPG-43s. The are shown to carry "grenades", but it does not specify a special type. The manual does not mention RPG-43s, unless I missed something. How do we know they are using RPG-43s? Has BFC posted on the topic? Are any other units using the RPG-43?
  2. Metal? You got metal?! You were lucky. In my day they would just point you to a hillside and you'd have to mine the ore yourself. Then for the stock we'd have nothing to use but the bones of the previous sniper team.
  3. Love the hand-painted slogan on the turret. So iconic. I don't normally use vehicle mods, but for this one I will make an exception.
  4. Loving the command lines, triggers, and all that Ostfront goodness. CMRT is double rainbow, all the way:
  5. Yeah, I'm looking forward to this one in a big way. Of course, I'm salivating for everything Battlefront has in the pipeline . . .
  6. I hadn't heard that before. What bits of "Eastern Europe" is the applicable art aiming to resemble? Poland? Romania? Hungary? Because the CMRT game family is intended to portray the eastern front from June of '44 to May of '45 (or such is my understanding) I suppose the landscape, buildings etc. will eventually need to reflect the Soviet Union (from the Baltic to the Black sea) plus the Balkans, plus Finland, plus Poland, plus East Prussia and eastern Germany. We saw with the Market-Garden module that BFC is willing to add new regions and landscape/buildings onto an existing base-game. So does that mean we will get landscape for, say, Russia and Poland with CMRT, and later modules will add Germany, Finland, and the Balkans? Also, how do the two regions we are getting in CMRT differ in appearance?
  7. No, I believe he ran out of time after playing CMRT quick battle.
  8. To make this work, it would be helpful if BFC would permit the recon units to have different skins than standard infantry. Otherwise, changing the recon skins to camo will similarly change the other infantry to camo. I also hope there are different skins for Guard formations, and for cavalry. It would be nice to jazz them up a bit if that hasn't been done already.
  9. Count me as one of those who are very, very pleased to see this feature return (even with the replay limitations). [Does little happy dance]
  10. Oh, I'm very pleased to have the "pipes" between units back! I missed them a great deal, especially now that split squads are all the rage. (And I'm glad to read that the Soviets will be penalized somewhat for splitting squads. I'd like to see that made universal.)
  11. *bump* Plus several additional words required to make a post . . .
  12. Wonderful mod! Really sets the Kriegsmarine guys apart. Thank you for posting this!
  13. This is great! I was thinking of posting a request for someone (with more talent than I possess) to make a Kriegsmarine mod just like this! You must be able to anticipate my every need. Here, I'll try it . . . *closes eyes and thinks of what he needs next* . . . hey! It worked! Now there's a beer in my hand! Great work, thank you.
  14. I'm certainly very pleased by the changes, even though I am an idiot. (Or so my wife tells me . . .) By the way, will these changes be free?
  15. Were the robes they wore at all "uniform", or was it more "ragtag" with everyone bringing a different design from home? The photograph posted earlier showing several Goumiers together makes the robes look surprisingly consistent from man to man -- although without color in the photos it's hard to say for certain. (Any robe grogs?)
  16. Regardless of its placement, very interesting stuff. Thank you for posting the link.
  17. *bump* Still hoping this one is completed and released. The work so far looks very good.
  18. Great mod idea. I hope this is still in progress . . .
  19. Perhaps it's only my imagination, but the game seems to be running more smoothly now with Gustav Line. I love the weather, especially "patchy snow", and the uniform options too. The weather effects remind me of CMAK, where I could change the look of the entire map by altering one or two variables. This module is a beauty, top to bottom. Hats off to the whole team at Battlefront!
