Well its not going very well at all so far, as Holien points out halftracks vs t34's ain't much of a battle. Lost a SP AT gun due to itchy fingers, my fault, otherwise is pretty tough going. Still it ain't over till that fat lady sings, and at the rate those t34s are covering the battlefield sooner or later they will run into my armour ) coz it ain't going nowhere ! PJ ps my lycos in innaccesable, had been for a couple of days so plz send turns to my hotmail account, hope it can stand the strain.

i have athlon 1400 running windows ME, trying to connect to a 900 Celeron running Windows XP. Got myself a 10/100 card in each pc, connected to a hub. Now the Athlon PC can see the Celeron, but the Celeron can't find the (bloody) Athlon. Athlon:Client for Microsoft Networks, IPX/SPX - compatible protocol, TCP/IP realtek adapter, file an print sharing for microsoft networks Celeron:Client for Microsoft Networks, file an print sharing for microsoft networks, QoS packet scheduler, NWlink Net Bios, NWlink IPX/SPX netbios compatible transport protocol, Internet protocol (TCP/IP) why can the athlon see the celeron but not the other way around? Can anyone help me out please? regards Steve

Still getting there slowly, but have had to leave my beloved PC for a trip to London, not sure when i will be back. Should be later in the week (RL probs ) Game is going well i think, looks like i have finally destroyed/disabled all Marks armour, almost run out of AT shells ! Not too severe losses my side yet, hopefully just need to use some firepower to secure the flags.

Radomness will give me an excuse for my crushing defeat in the next round so its fine with me

we're still fighting our way through, i think i have the advantage now after taking out his pair of KV's using my Aspirin technique "Hey Ruski you got headache from all that noise, i have Aspiriiin, you want it ? just come out of that nasty cramped tank ". Seemed to work Got a couple of t34s to worry bout so not finished yet.

We are into the combat but not too far through the game for various reasons. Same old story, fire bounce fire bounce (((

Bit of a battle we have going here, a few t34's, a brace of KV-1's and a valentine in a pear tree! All just about immune to my AT weapons. I'll run out of ammo before he runs out of tanks The Valentine took over half a dozen penetrations before retreating! thought the 50mm gun was the answer to russian armour!

TY Boff. Having looked at the map his assessment is probably correct, i was gonna roll down the line with the t34's. Still its not really fun to loose "in the draw" so to speak or to win in the same way. My Girlfriend gonna be happy that i have 1 less game to play (How d'ya get a sceeenshot, tried pressing my print screen button an pasting - nothing to paste schucks!)

Combined fire from my two t34 platoons have taken out a couple of short barrelled panzer ivs, also maybe some other light tank, my infantry in the middle of the map is a bit pinned down by his infantry and mg fire but hopefully some close t34 support should do the job. Not so sure about the other flank, appear to be a bit outnumbered! Good game looking forward to seeing how it develops.

Only done a couple of turns as i have been away, Got a problem with not being able to access Lycos, so send turns to same addy but yahoo.com Anyone got tips on how to take out a KV as i have seen one skulking through the countryside. ) Seem to have had the better of the countryside but no real contact made yet...... I been away a bit so have slowed the game down, we are on about turn 7, and despite exceptionally bad optics have managed to take out a Panzer IV Lots of my infantry are cowering, have to give them some tank support. Steve )

Darn my Halftracks bogging in open ground! oops, don't have halftracks to bog down, really

First shots have been fired, and i can confirm that the optics on my T-34s are rubbish. Still i fear not the armoured car nor the halftrack when i am 500m away (not so sure bout the tank following them tho')
