  1. The CM community seems to this demo playing newbie to be HUGE! Anyone out there have any CM paraphenalia??? I dig this game sooo much I need a CMBO t-shirt or hat or something. [ December 22, 2002, 12:24 PM: Message edited by: RA ]
  2. What spec computer do you fellas have that will bog down doing BB? Just curious. I have a 1.2 T-bird, 512 DDR, Geforce4 ti4200, Win98 OS. Is that going to be good for CMBO and BB? I have CMBO on it's way to me and figured I had enough grunt to upgrade that game with the better detail add-ons available. Am I mistakened? [ December 21, 2002, 11:05 PM: Message edited by: RA ]
  3. Well I think I figured out the obvious stupid thing I didn't do. I think it was trying to make commands before hitting the "done" button. Let me try and I'll report back. Thanks I hope I haven't sounded too much like a blathering idiot. R
  4. My description was probably unclear. I want to make some commands after the 60 second action is over. I cannot get the drop down menu that was coming up with the spacebar to work. All I can do is click on the unit/tank and a yellow outline appears. I must be missing something? R
  5. OK I figured out the space bar. That worked for a second "movement" Now that the action is under way the space bar does not bring up a list of commands. I was mistaken when I said a red box I meant yellow. What gives here? My guys are getting taken out because I can't order them and give them support from reserves in the back. Does that make sense? Thanks. Still  [ December 21, 2002, 04:34 PM: Message edited by: RA ]
  6. OK I understand how to initially have my troops move to positions (give orders) but once the game commences I cannot get the comand menu to appear when I try to give them additonal orders. All that happens is a red outline appears on the given troops I try to direct. Geeeez, this game would be great fun if I could figure out how to at least do fundametal ops. I printed the demo tutorial that is here but the instructions in it do not jibe once the game starts. [ December 21, 2002, 04:10 PM: Message edited by: RA ]
  7. OK I'm over to the CMBO "department" Thanks for the help. Take it easy and Merry Christmas! R
  8. OK this is what I did. I ordered CMBO full version just after I posted this question. I really am interested in this kind of game play and figured "what the hell". Also my father saw combat in the ETO during WWII with the US Army infantry (44-45) so my inclination to that is strong. Is CMBO pretty good, compared to CMBB, graphics and gameplay wise? Thanks what do you think of my decision?? Thanks for all the help and I'm on my way to DL the demo. RA [ December 21, 2002, 12:18 PM: Message edited by: RA ]
  9. Hello I am just getting into CMBB with the demo and I am very cofused on doing just the basics when playing. I printed out the Demo tutorial and the demo documentation. Still they both assume things that I do not understand. I just need to find somewhere that explains the basics a little more in depth. I'm having trouble understanding how to give orders and having do what I direct. Thanks.
