turning the game on and (still) being dissapointed in the quick battle's, and then fearing the same in the normandy game!

when i was in the marine corp i got to fire a smaw once. i was thinking that it was really going to recoil a lot, but it did indeed pull me forward just a bit.

plenty of succes in the past both hosting and joining. i recently have a new provider and can not host a game, havent tried to join yet. i have all firewalls down, antivirus down, exceptions were all given including port 7023. i vaguely remember having to go into the modem and change something in the past but i can remember what it was. i have dsl. can anyone think of something that i could be missing. also, if someone would want to host a game sometime to see if i can join to find out if its really my pc drop me line via pm. thanks!

i often have the game stop in mid battle because it says my opp has timed out, and or left the game. now i know he didnt leave cause ive been on the phone with him, more times it just times out. whats the deal with this, is it just the game or is there a setting need to be adjusted

yeah i was all over the place wasnt i !! the only thing that you covered that may be unclear is the troops in the vehicles. in the beggining he can put them im, and acpuire things, but after go they get kicked out and cannot move, the vehicles move using the troop commands and with the vehicle commands if you asnwered this with the new patch will fix it ok, just want to make sure i was clear on the exact problem

my opp has this problem where he cannot move his infantry. in the beg. of the game he can load them, but after the start, they are kicked out of their vehicles. when he clicks on them to move them, they do not, but instead the vehicles move. his firewall is down. his version is the same, except he has paradox, i have battlefront. also he cannot host. he also said that in the windows firewall he gave the exception for combat misson, his antivirus does not have this option. any help??????????

arent the quick battles still "broke" i still get the same map almost everytime. still, i thought there was something else i heard, but i cant recall about the qb being broke.

rune, turning off the uac works, when i open the game all i can see is the one saved game. no matter how i open the game. now if i turn it back on, if i open it the reg way i see 20 gmaes i have saved. if i go back and right click to open i only have one game saved. so, where is the bizzarro world games hidden? even if i turn off the uac(which i dont really want to do) the games are still going to saved in to locations? i want this to work correctly, why isnt it????

rune, if i do that it works. but, it will save the game under both "profiles" i can then delete the game under the admin approach, but the normal way i cannnot. i dont know what uai is.

i cannot get rid of saved games, even if i uninstall the game, which i have done and they get put back there. the reason may have something to do with vista and the user profile. i usually run the game normally, without using admin, the game runs fine, saves games, but it does not make a saved game folder. now if i run it as admin it will make a game folder which i can erase, but when i run the game normally from the program list, it also gets saved there, which i cannot erase. now, i have made another account and put that one as the admin, and swithched my account to just a user. same result, just more frustration. also, after uninstall, i did check everywhere for gamefiles, saved games, maps you name it and nothing comes up. CAN ANYONE PLEASE FRICKIN HELP ME!!!!!! i have been in contact with matt/battlefront and he is now at a lose for answers. although im not sure he is really familiar with vista, we really didnt try to much besides uninstall. btw, save the vista sucks comments

retired, if you remember which folder let me know, i cant find it anywhere! i am using vista

actually thats what i thought, but in the game files folder the only files in it are, baked, camp, incoming and outgoing email,qb and scen, no saved games

how do you delete saved games? i looked for the folder but could not find it

the only thing the navy has to do with amtracs is the corpman inside attatched to the marines, and the ships giving the amtracs a ride. this coming from first had exp!!!

well, it is black smoke?!? shouldnt it be white? and it seems to far to be from the vehicle

i dont know if its just me but when i sometimes i see smoke in weird places. ex.. a tank is smoking but it looks like smoke originates from the tank, also like 50-100m in front or another direction. im not confusing this with the smoke blowing.

hopefully this has not been posted before, did a quick search but found nothing question is why are ied's not in quick battles, to be used by the ai or playing as the red side uncon??? btw, i dont know how to use the editor so i dont want to have to learn to use it just to use ied's i just want to go boom in a q.b.

i was thinking the same thing?? anyone know about this??????????/
