I have a kyro 2 and had the text problems, where you couldnt read any of the text concerning morale, time, turns etc.
Tigers registry fix for CMBO works for CMBB to.
I'll repeat what Tiger said concerning the fix but use Regedit instead.
If you arent comfortable editing the registry here is Tigers post on the subject.

Start->Run and type regedit.
DONT change anything else in the registry as it could make mucho problems for you in future. Its always a good idea to export the registry to just in case you mess up. This can be done by going to file-> Export.
Ok, the fix. look for
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\PowerVR\KYRO\Game Settings\D3D\
Then create a new key in the left hand frame (By selecting D3D and right clicking, then New)
Rename this new key
combatmission2.exe
Then in the right frame right click and make a new string. rename this string
DisableCopyBlt3D
then double click on it and give it a value of 1 in the lower text box.
