  1. Hi JM, the Red Cross ambulance works well, thank you. Looking forward to more goodies once you're completly in the saddle again, my friend.
  2. Impressive story, Frank. Thank you for sharing that with us. Can't have been easy. My advice would be to ignore this reaction, make use of this publicity and finish your work. Personally I would be disappointed if your thread will not be unlocked again soon.
  3. Indeed. Mr. X was even kind enough to send me one of his campaigns for testing. He never mentioned payment and from my contact with him I can say that he is a perfect gentleman who would never even consider charging money for his great work. All in all rather nasty and unfortunate that it has to be like this.
  4. Yeah, that will teach them a lesson. Here's a thought. After BF has finally closed business (and long mey they rule), NO ONE will ever produce this kind of complicated and labour intensive wargames anymore. So let's praise ourselves lucky we've already got his much.
  5. I hear you, Tim. First time my cleaning lady cleaned my study room, she thought I was some military nut, with all my books, military medals, battle paintings, swords and other weapons. She now knows me as quite harmless and peaceful, but one can't be too careful with proclaiming our 'hobby'.
  6. Great news, Steve, thank you. P.s. the screenshots of gallery 2 for the CMFB module don't seem to turn up.
  7. Calm down, guys. BF is the best and already gave us so much. I believe they will continue to do so and we should be grateful and supportive.
  8. I have the feeling this war is going to escalate and expand all over the world. Silly perhaps, but I have the feeling we are all heading for war. Or whatever they call it nowadays.
  9. For as far as possible under these grim circumstances: Happy Christmas, Ukraine. You are not forgotten and that isn't going to happen either. Personally I will be thinking of those cold, tired men in the snowy, wet trenches, fighting not only for their country, but for the whole free West. May God give you victory, peace and justice in the coming year and smash and humiliate your enemies. Amen.
  10. It's officially announced the first batch of 16 Dutch F-16s will be delivered to Ukraine. A second batch will probably follow. Wilders or no Wilders.
  11. We all know how long "soon" can take in your world, Steve.
  12. For me it's the only explanation that 'makes sense', Dan. And an indication of how important this war really is for the West. Putin's legacy.
  13. "No, to try and force Russia and its population in his mindset. He is turning everyone into a hardcore nationalist. This is probably one of his main goals with this war, to forever drive a wedge between the west and Russia in the Russians minds. So that the only future left is one that aligns with his vision. So that everyone who disagrees with this vision is seen as a traitor. Propaganda and hate speech work miracles. Those that disagree either leave or are afraid to speak out" I found the above quote on Reddit very accurate and I see Putin and his war in the same light. The most important reason why Putin attacked Ukraine is that he wanted a war to unite his people and burn their bridges, to get rid of the people who oppose him and to make sure there's no way back for Russia, much like Germany in ww2. In that sense Putin has already reached his main goal. The only thing Putin is afraid of is peace.
  14. Exactly. Patience and perseverance. And realizing victory is never certain. That's why we need to keep an open eye and also allow other opinions, as wrong as they may be.
  15. Would be a grand end of 2023. Poland has a decent government again, in the Netherlands Wilders will not be allowed to stop helping Ukraine and hopefully something finally will be done about Orban. Don't despair, Ukraine, the West won't abandon you.
