I am going to be upgrading my graphics card to a Wildcat VP990. Does anyone know of any issues with CMBB (the only game I play) and the Wildcat cards...I know they are not used primarily for games having some issues with Direct X
Any ideas
Thank you

I run CMBB With the GeForce FX5200 with no big problems. Though there was one time when it did wheez when I added 50% extra troops for the Huge 'Operation Zitadelle', but that was the only time
I am running a dual xeon, 1.5Gb Ram system..
Some mentioned the Ti card's I have to say that struggled with CMBB, (chequered board display, it would appear due to warm weather) surprising when it handled MOH and Return to Castle Wolfenstein with no problems

Hi
Just wanted to share some 'real world' tactics that I have found work well in CMBB
When in defence:
Place heaviest weapons first (from armour/88's to HMG's)then build infantry positions around to support/protect them
Depth - place units so they are not in a 'thin line'
Arcs - all arc should be interlocking
Mutual support - all unit positions should be able to support one another
Concealment - hide until the last possible minute
Reserves - always keep a reserve (even if its half a squad) to counterattack onto a taken postion
Offensive spirit - be prepared to counterattack once you think you have beaten off the 'coup de main'
General
Armour works best in pairs - tanks on their own are more vunerable then you think
APC's are not tanks best used in a stand off position and used to 'fire in' an infantry assault
Probably been cover before, but I hope that helps

Hi, Just playing 'Road to Sevastapol'. Has anyone any ideas how you rembark the flak 88's to the Sdkfz 7 tractors or is just a 'one time only' placement of the gun?
Thanks

Thanks guys, to be honest I had tried switching off all background apps initially, but to no avail
I took the sides off and I was able to complete a battle (Royal opponent) with it crashing 3 times. Looks like it was over heating of the graphics card. It is rather warm here in dear old blighty
Thanks again for taking the time to respond

I installed this truely brilliant game 2 weeks ago. However, the last couple of days my system
crashes after a few minutes of game play (loading a battle/operation). What happens is that the
monitor displays a checkerboard pattern (alternating horizontal and vertical lines) or just goes
white or sometimes black. My PC is then unresponsive to keyboard commands (alt/backspace even
Ctrl/Alt/Del) I have to reboot the system with the main switch. Any ideas as what the problem
may be. I have reinstalled the game, graphics/sound drivers etc to no avail.
I have also installed all the pateches for the game now at 1.03 ver
