  1. Strange. Yeah! It works fine on my other computer. For now, anyway. Maybe its a graphics thing?
  2. An undocumented feature of Tacops is that a copy of an installed version will run perfectly well on another computer without needing to be installed. Before connecting USB's to office computers was banned, I used to run Tacops on my office computer at lunchtime off a USB. So if anyone has a copy of the installed version on an old PC or hard drive, it can simply be copied as is onto your newer computer. But. There is always a but... Tacops behaved well on every version of Windows until a recent update of Windows 10. Now, the unit selection panel does not appear during game set up, so it is no longer possible to start a new game. Saved games will load and play no problem, it is only the selection panel in set up. Bummer, I never stopped playing it.
  3. OK, that sounds like a pretty good reason to me. Now the real question. If I want to run a given assault situation several times to see different combat results is it sufficient to simply change orders for one or two other uninvolved units, or do I need to "Save As..", or how else should it be done?
  4. I set up a situation, air assault on the camp, in DeGoey and saved before beginning the Combat Phase. My intention was to run the phase several times to see what variation there would be in combat results. I ran it quite a few times but so far as I can determine, combat results were identical each time in terms of units destroyed/ damaged/ attrited, artillery impact locations (accuracy 0-2) and Force Lethality Values. It looks like every event was resolved by referring to a previously calculated and saved table of random numbers? (I'm still on v3.02!)
  5. I change my screen resolution as a workaround to get a "full screen" effect. Works fine for me, but only the smaller maps. Right click on your desktop, select "Properties", then select "Settings" and choose a resolution suitable for the map size.
