Let me first start off by saying I have all the games and modules except one. That says what I think about the game but at the asking price today of around $60. there is a certain responsibility that comes with that to make frame rate and other improvements like certain animations of soldiers moving etc ongoing. There is always room or improvement and games like this that depend so much on graphics have to improve using the newer technology being offered.

I don't know why I am having such a difficult time transferring the BF 4.0 Engine Manual PDF from my PC to my android tablet. At first I thought it was my tablet and tried to copy paste other PDFs and they worked without any problems. The Combat Mission game PDFs won't paste. I hope there is a simple fix to this. Thanks

Ok so the bottom line is there is low fps for a series of games that in my opinion should have been better optimized by now.They have had plenty of time to do it. I like the game and have all the games and most modules but that fact still remains.

Never checked FPS before but decided to take a look. I was surprised that even with my Nvidia 1080Ti w/32gb memory and no mods installed I was getting a lot of stuttering jumps in FPS from 17-55 FPS with mostly 17-20 fps in action areas.Is this the norm?

Hello, was wondering how to get the best resolution in game. Is it the Option Choices "Fastest" or "Best" ? Also I have a high end computer are there any other changes I could make in Nvidia without screwing things up in the game? Thanks

As the title suggests is it possible to import a map from say CMMOD so that it shows up as a choice in QB as a choice? I am finding with the huge Stalingrad District Map all the units show up but if I am playing the Germans the Russian start up piled in a location and just stay there in literally a pile. They don't move at all for the entire game.

I think that is the problem. Mods with similar name tags for say the same type of vehicle are requesting overwrites.

Forget about the Mod Manager for a moment. The question is this: 1. Download several mods for lets say CMFB 2. Extract zip to folder on desktop 3. Copy and paste (or use mod manager doesn't matter) to the created Z folder in Data in CMFB. 4 When copying and pasting several vehicle mods to the Z folder for example I have gotten messages asking if I want to overwrite some previous file from another mod in the Z folder. That can't be good.

What I meant here is overwrite other mod files. All my mods are in the Z folder managed by a mod manager program.

How do you handle installing several mods into anyone of the Combat Mission games and it asks to overwrite file/files? Yes or No? Usually it only seems to ask for one or two files and one of them is usually some sort of PDF file.

Thanks and maybe you might be interested in this Mod Manager I found z Bee v14 Mod Manager here on Battlefront's website. It works.Makes it easy to load up mods then deactivate them back to vanilla.

What is the best mod manager to use with Combat Mission? I've tried JSGME and z bee v14 and they don't make shuffling mods within or from game to game easy at all. There has got to be a better way than manually.

I don't really want to be difficult but it appears you are trying to make it sound like it was my fault. I followed the directions for contacting Battlefront @ Customer Service as was directed on the Support Page and followed several directions of possible fixes on the forums. If contacting Customer Service through emails doesn't work efficiently then shouldn't it be removed? Anyway I submitted a request to the Help Desk. I'll let you know what happens. Thanks

This may not be the discussion to voice this but here goes.I won't purchase anything from Battlefront until Customer Service responds to at least one of my three inquiries about a Shock Force game serial problem.I own 90% of their games and will not buy another one until they have the courtesy to respond to a customer who have been with them since the original Combat Mission days.

What are the differences between these two campaigns (within the two games)? I am not an expert in these games but from glancing at the maps they look pretty much the same game. Am I missing something?Sorry for the spacing.

What will be the combined price for the two games vs buying them separately? Also does Oct. 1st look good for release? Thanks

That statement makes no sense. I've been tactical wargaming for a long time and I like it when the developers include an info screen about armor and unit rating and so on. I've always liked those games like ASL and ATS. Also I just like it when I can compare data once and a while just to make sure the true values are in the vehicle or unit.

Well hope that with patches there might be something added to the visual armor ratings. I've read that for these type of tactical games the armor ratings for the various parts of say a tank are difficult to program for gameplay.

Just purchased Combat Mission :Battles for Normandy and I'm very pleased with it so far. I would like to know if there is any type of armor rating like hull thickness, penetration values that you see in some tactical games.

I've got to ask are these two games engines,movement,player control etc. the same or similar in a significant way?If I buy Combat Mission:Shock Force will I fell like I'm playing Theatre of War or a updated Combat Mission?
