  1. Greetings to all!! I (& other germans) need to know all differences between both versions, so that i (others) can decide to buy the german or try to get the international version (in a few days)of the game. So far i know the german manual is at about 60% on *.pdf. And the Waffen-SS is called Waffengrenadiere. Are there any other differences? Com' on german guys, i need help!!! Hafer out+++

  3. Hello Achim, i'm from germany too. One Question about the manual: Is it true that it's only a f****** small version with about 90 pages and the rest on an *.pdf file??? I hope my nightmare does'n come true!! Greetings Hafer

Hello Guys, some comments to the usual practice to get into the hull-down position (with anenemy behind a hill): If there is an enemy vehicle behind the hill use some hunt + move back commands....... That doesn't work for my german tanks! The first thing that happens is that a yellow line appear between my tank and the enemy (spotted) and now i have to wait a few seconds (and some meters!!!)till my tank stops and fires at the target (red line)but he isn't hull down!! How can i accelerate the time between the yellow line becoming red? Has sombody an solution for that? Hafer out+++
  5. Well, i also tested some grid grass mods (www.combatmission.com; www.derkessel.de) but on my opinion Wolfs low-res (is there an hi-res version..????) is still the best for view for elevations and it looks nice too. Greetings Hafer
  6. I think the best strategy for you is to choose first of all the small maps. It's easier to command a relative small group of vehicles, troops etc. than a big one. After that experience you can go on with the medium ones. And finaly the large maps...
  7. Hello Guys, i've downloaded a lot of mods approx. 230 MB (vehicles, buildings etc.). But the most important mod for me is still the grass! I think so far the best compromise between nice looking and good view for elevations (very important for me) is the grass mod from Wolf (combatmission.com). It's "only" low res, but for me it looks better than eg. gunnergozs realgrass mod (the one that many of us prefer) Am i right? (what do you think/prefer [and why]) Thanx
  8. Hello Guys, i've a problem with reconaissance. Before you develop an attack plan you have to know the strength and location of the enemy force-that's clear. Are you using only special vehicles to do this job? And what about huge maps (battlefields)- you need a lot of vehicles/units for reconnaissance! Or do you advance carefully with your whole infantery? Another problem is, that you loose a lot of turns just for reconnaissance when you are carefully! I often advance with one infantery group just looking whats going around - but often they are discovered by enemy tanks and then they get very fast into panic!

  10. Hi to all! If the enemy is behind a hill or just in the near of it it's easy to take a hull-down-position: just use the hunt command and your tank stops when only his gun has a LOS to the target - ok. But how can i take a hull-down-position when there's no enemy in the near - then my tank will not stop at the right position at the top of the hill? Can I only place my tanks with the help of the outside view? :confused: Hafer out.
  11. ok-thanx for your answer! It's a pity!-I hoped that there would be a possibility to move groups..... I mean: it takes a lot of time to pick up every unit and give her individual waypoints - especialy in the early stage of a battle. Sure, in the heat of an ongoing battle it's necessary to do this kind of micromanagement. Maybe there are some changes in CMBB..? Hafer out.
  12. Well, if i select one unit i can give her many different waypoints (in one turn). But if i try to do so with a selected group - it's impossible (i can only use ONE waypoint)? Can somebody help me? :confused:
