  1. Well now I feel really foolish. Foolish for believing Apple had the latest drivers. They used to be v2.6. Thanks to your link, they're now 3.0 and everything works just fine. Thanks Hoopenfaust! BTW, I have never partitioned my drive, have a second OS 9 folder nor deleted the Classic Rave and CMBO (and now CMBB) have worked just fine. Thanks again. Tim
  2. Anyone else with ideas? Sympathy? Bones? Somebody please help because it's very distracting to play with purple fuzz.
  3. I have never added a mod to either game (gasps are heard from the crowd along with mutters of "barbarian"). Also, there is nothing else running in OS 9.2.2 when I play since it's not my primary OS.
  4. Just found the patch fixes list. Somehow this sounds too specific to fix what I'm seeing. Here's hoping....
  5. This was an interesting twist so I thought I'd post it. First time the textures are actually recognizable as something specific. It's almost as if the real textures aren't there so it's grabbing whatever it can find. I really hope this gets fixed because the details on the Russian vehicles are very nice and it's a shame not to have the German counterparts.
  6. I have the same problem (had it on the Demo too and just thought it was a demo problem). I have a QS 733, OS 9.2.2 (and OS 10.1.5) with the stock GeForce 2 MX. Deleting the Classic Rave didn't do anything for me (note I didn't need to do this to run CMBO). Madmatt, in an earlier thread, mentioned there's a known bug about crew textures that will be fixed in patch 1.01. Hopefully that fixes the whole issue. Interestingly, the screw up of the textures is not consistently the same. I've reloaded the same scenario several times and each time the screw up is slightly different. For what it's worth. 7. Hi all. I'm confused by some of this. I have a Quicksilver G4/733. I've never had any problems booting into 9.2.2 and playing CMBO (or CMBB demo for that matter). I've never had to mess with extensions or have a seperate partition or anything. I just used the 9.2.2 folder that came with the machine. Now, when I want to play CMBO in Classic mode (OS X.1.5) using the SW rendering, I just launch another Classic Ap first to get the Classic environment up and running. When it's done, I go into the Extensions folder and trash the Classic Rave. I then launch CMBO and have no problem playing in SW mode. So I don't understand all the steps it sounds like you all are doing to get this to work. On a related topic, I havn't been able to get the CMBB demo to work in Classic SW mode. It insists on having an 800x600 resolution and apparently the SW mode default is 640x480. I don't know how to change that (or if I even can). Any one have any ideas (for a fairly non-techie)? Lastly, the Rave 1.8.1 sounds potentially promising for an eventual patch from BTS to get CMBB working in Classic hardware mode. But watching your instructions, it just sounds like you're re-booting into 9.2.2 which is what I've always been doing without any other effort. So I'm wondering if Rave 1.8.1 is really doing anything for you. Just some thoughts from a fellow Mac guy.
