I want to say my thanks as well. CMBB has proven incredibly fun in TCP/IP battles against a friend. Just yesterday we had a 1000 p. quick battle in June 1941, Large map with lots of woods, and Hungarians attacking the Russians with the computer picking the forces. When I saw my forces, I cringed. Four platoons of less-than-mighty Toldi I tanks, a couple of tankettes, and a company of infantry.
However, I managed to wear the opponent down to the point that he agreed to surrender. Yeah, his T-26s carried a bigger gun, but they hit less often, and my armor was so thin that his shells probably went right through without spalling or anything. And I had the advantage in numbers, which enabled me to concentrate 2-3 tanks against any spotted vehicle. It also helped that the Toldis were quite agile, on firm, level ground at least. I drove right around his infantry positions, killing 17 enemy tanks and armored cars (i.e. all of them) while losing only 7 of my own. At this point he surrendered, as our infantry forces were by then about equal and I still had maybe 10 tanks.
And I didn't lose a single tankette!
