That is one of the things that I actually don't like about the game. The French had more tanks than the germans had but yet the Germans have 2 / 3 units and the French have none. Not only did they have more, the axis had nothing that could penetrate the Char B1 from over like 200 meters except the 88 which they wern't using in a AT role at that time.

even with that kev you would stil see jets in '42. The problem lays not with jets being there in '42 or even '41 in my game its about how strong Lv5 jets are compared to how strong Lv5 infantry or Lv5 tanks are.

Yes i agree when the US can only make 1 bomber every 3 or so turns it does seem like they are a bit under powered with 180mmp As for the Historical Vs Random Vs Historically Random it should be a new option and not take away from the completly random options

I managed *god knows how* take all of those except England but also took Turkey, Yugo, Greece and Iraq before Turkey came into the war by late '41 / early '42 When Russia did come into the war, I was gaing more MMP's per tern than them anyway and able to bomb the crap out of England with my level 5 jets and take the England during my Russian conflict with 2 Tank army's. -BiggN

doesn't seem to happen if the Germans put men on the border against the French... or at least doesn't seem to for me, although personally i like they doing it and already have my strat setup ready for next game *note: the French air doesn't seem to cover their attacking for one that part in my game*

HQ helps like you wouldn't belive.... Except I don't think it helps the Air Any really but thats just IMHO. not to sound like a dig or anything, but it was probably because it was on Easy.. Unfortunatly i've never managed to take the Brits out as Axis before the USSR are on my case and I still have the man / air power to take out England. -BiggN

well SuperTed, When someone says the word "patch" in their topic and post you would expect that he realises that Hub would need to make that possible and not some hobo. -BiggN [edit] BTW, I would also like to see this done. France and BEF decided sepertly if they should go into the war if the Axis isn't being as / that agressive would be great imho and USSR maybe going axis rather than only Allies / Neut would be great aswell. Why can't the game start a year earlier or never finish if thats what we want? On the never ending thing just have like Civ does / did about once the game is over do you still want to continueing playing. I can't stress how interesting the battles can be and to be cut off mid battle and not able to continue is going to be somthing that counts against this game in the long run as it happens more and more to me. lol @ CVM, This is one of the first threads saying "hey take a option away" when it actually adds to make it feel more like its your war rather than just a re-inactment of WW2 *i.e. Countrys declare war because they are sick of you rather than because thats what happened in real life* To take it away or any of the Random options would be stupid, although random does seem like the wrong name for it to me. -BiggN

Yes you've got to keep your lines protected or you will be attacked from there.
