I like the way you got the wheels to have that used look about them.

Zigwied, here's one of my e-mail www.rbellerose419@yahoo.com I was wondering how you put the markings on it?? numbers unit symbol, etc. I would be greatful for the secret of doing this.
-
Like the "Grog" scenario icons, I have a few of the medals you have listed on it in my collection, cool site.
-
Oh yeah , like how do you put equipment and tactical ## on the BMPs
-
You put my Opel to shame, great work, and I know magicians aren't supposed to tell thier secrets, buutttt, you can tell me.
-
thanks, I think I.m starting to get the hang of it. Did you see anything that needed some work??
-
Well, this is my opinion (they are like butt holes everyones got one}. From what I have seen the models are pretty darn accurate as far as detail goes. As far as the "new look" well I don't know how many people the had to mad the tanks, but from what I've learned of modding {and I haven't been doing it for very long} it takes a lot of work to mod these babies, they probably would have been working on this game for years to get all the models custom modded, and the game probably would have ended up costing a small fortune to make. And hey, now you know why people mod for

I posted it on the "Database", I used a site called "Kursk AFV's" for the camo scheme. i hope you like it, all feed http://cm.cozog.com/ back greatly welcomed.

stay away from the 40 series drivers, they are not certified for one thing, and they are buggy. I tried them on 3 machines, AMD chipset, and 2 VIA chipset machines. The AMD chipset had a Gef3 and 1 of the VIAs had a gef3 and the other gef4. On each machine they were buggy, on the gef2 more then the others. I played several differnt games on them, (medal of honor, cossacks, empire earth), had issues with the graphics and boot probs. Now your probably going to say,"well give us the exact specs of each machine, it may run differnt on mine", well, all I can write is this. It really doesn't matter, because if the drivers were so buggy on these systems (each machine having the same issues but some differnt ones as well), what kind of bugs are you going to run into?? Also the driver is around 9mb of download, if your on a 56k it'll take a while. hope this helps on the question with the new drivers.

I know this may sound dumb, but I'm pretty new at modding. My question is when I went and modded the axis truck,I could not do anything with the very edge of the fenders. I tried marking the BMPs for esch section in red and going and looking to see which one might have something to do with the very edge, but none did. Are the edges hard coded? or did I just make a newbie modding mistake??
-
Loki, let me know if you see anything that I need to work on. Oh, for some reason, if you notice the very edge of the fenders, well I could'nt do anything with it , it was wierd though like it was hardcoded or something.

Fed back is welcomed, or tips.

I have built WWII models and diaromas, for a while now. I started modding because I like to look up info on various, things pertaining to it. And it looks like fun,(and it is)I'm not certain, but from what I've seen in the past the modders in CM, take it seriously and they will tell you if a mod is not a factual one. I found out a lot of new things in the short time I've been modding. One interesting fact is that the "Wermacht" issued OD green paint to thier armor units, from late 43 on until the end of the war. One more thing, the tanks were camoed mainly in the field, by the tankers, so no one scheme will be exactly like the rest, a lot of the schemes Ive gotten have been through pics. There are some really good modders playing this game, to me that's one of the things I like about it.

I have fixed the pink spots on the tracks and touched up some things Bullethead pointed out {thanks} I only put the fixed BMPs in the zip, to make it faster to download. Thanks to everyone who helped me out on the forum, great place. http://cm.cozog.com/

Ok, I'm going to re-vamp those BMPs and put them in a "update zip", working on them now, just took a break.

Oh yeah, it's at the data base http://cm.cozog.com/

Thanks Mr Noobie!! I was wrackin my brains (what little I have), trying to figure it out , and man it's easy, LOL.

I was playing CMBB, and noticed this butt ugly axis truck on the map, so I figured I might give it a shot, so I re-modded it. Any feed back rips or feed back greatly welcomed.
-
That looks really good, hey, could you give me a few pointers??
-
Thanks Old Dog, you read my mind, I was comming to the forum to ask that question "How in the heck do I get rid of the pink spots" it was driving me crazy, thanks agian.
-
I'll fix it with a "update zip" darn it!! sorry, I must be blind

HOLY S***, gunslinger, you've created a whole new game!!(if you didn't, you sure used enough megs). That's a lot of meggers, and thanks to Chris for being brave enough to host it.

Yes, you have a point, I forgot to think that the screen shots were taken not by the moniter view. And I also didn't take in to consideration that it was Macs this thread was discussing. I never really had any customers with Macs, so never really worked on em. I hear that the newer Macs are a whole lot better though.
Thanks for the info

But aren't monitore sorta like T.V.s?? you know, you get a cheap T.V., and you get a expensive one, the pic quality is better on the the expensive one, I know monitors are differnt due to higher digital quality, but wouldn't the same idea apply?? Not trying to argue or anything, but this is interesting having people not connected to the vid card industry compare notes, (they aren't trying to sell anything)
A great site for info on armor and guns
