  1. Look for scenarios by ASL Veteran on either the Scenario Depot or on my site at The Proving Grounds. Most, if not all(?) of his scenarios are ASL conversions and each that I've played have been very well done.
  2. This is a sweet looking mod! I was looking at your pics on your site and saw this one and said "yeah, his model looks really close to this original picture he must of taken at a museum or something", then I looked closer and said "wow, that is another mod pic!!". It was the building that gave it away! Great stuff!
  3. It's by no means set in stone that only "proven" scenarios should go to the Scenario Depot. That has only been my suggestion since launching The Proving Grounds...quite some time after the Depot was launched. The Depot is the place to go for your scenario needs, no doubt. My idea came when I would see a post here on these forums of a new scenario; "need testers" and then there would be 15 replies of "send it to me, email in my details". The Grounds is a way to help authors distribute the scenario without having to individually email everyone that wants a copy, while still maintaining the knowledge of who has a copy of it. That's the important part, you'll know whose downloaded it so you can follow up with them for feedback if needed. The opponent finder part was almost an after thought, but actually was added to the site first. It's matched me up with about 5 people that I'm doing PBEM's with now, so hopefully it's working for everyone else. Thanks for joining, and look forward to testing some of your scenarios!
  4. Dowloading worked ok for me, Opera 7.01, Win2k. Should be fun, thanks!
  5. Thanks PanzerTruppe. Link for The Proving Grounds is in my sig below. There's 260 of us signed up there just waiting to playtest it for you. Ok, that might be a little over zealous of me...
  6. I have both an Iron Cross and the Soviet Red Star on my site....I guess I'm just confused.
  7. That "tank" reminds me of something that I've seen before......ah, here we go:
  8. I think Redwolf is telling Hans that he needs to right click on the the right frame and select "properties" so that he see's the location of just that frame vs the main frame, as in http://mailer.fsu.edu/~akirk/tanks/Uruguay/Uru-stuart.jpg
  9. Not wanting to step on Adm. Keth's toes in any way, but I can suggest my site, The Proving Grounds for posting to if your scenario is still in need of playtesting, before moving them over to the Scenario Depot. This will keep Adm. from having to keep reposting your corrected versions. This will also save you from having to email the scenario out time and time again when people email you asking for a copy of it. At TPG, you can upload either .zip, .sit, or the scenario in it's native format (.cme, .cmb etc). They are available for download immediately. The scenario should then be moved to the Scenario Depot at any time that you think it's finished. There's few of us who are reviewing scenario's on a full-time basis, I'm hoping more people will join us. Overall, there's 270 members or so, so somebody should give you feedback on it.
  10. Welcome aboard guys. I'll recommend the opponent finder forum located here, and also my website, link in the sig line. There you can search for and find an opponent that will match your skill level and other game criteria. Good luck!
  11. It says CMBB for me, Jorge must of changed it. By the way Jorge, who's "faces" mod are you using? Those look good. So does your Tiger and uni's, just installed them -thanks!
  12. Removing roadblocks ? If you have a 2 hour operation why not pionieren with their equipment ? </font>
  13. Bulldozers? Why? A battle is maybe 30 min to an hour or so of action, what are you going to build with a bulldozer? Just curious....
  14. Sorry if this is a known issue, but I didn't see anything in the search results.... Seems that scenario names are chopped off after a certain length...at the beginning of the name, not the end. So, "Came Saw and Goddamn Russians" Shows as: "me Saw and Goddamn Russians" and though it is listed alphabetically, it appears to be out of order as an "m" is in the middle of the "C's".
  15. Ha! I was just about to post that...if you do the photo's, don't include infantry or tank commanders, throws "realistic looking" out the window... Sorry, but it's true. It's harder to draw people vs tanks, isn't it?
  16. Scenario #27 was deleted because of a mixup with the file extension. The details for the Flak buster scenario are HERE
  17. I say turn it over to Dade Cty, FL. They'll sort it out.
  18. Ha! I'm still in the top 10 after all these years.... I really do need to rebeef the beefy sounds when I get a chance, I have some pretty neat new tools to do that with.
  19. Did somebody say Anna Pornakova???? Woohoooo! J/K, looks good, grabbing the pack now!
  20. I'd be surprised if they did open, the header information for the files are stored in a different format coming from the Mac. I'll see if we have a utility up at the office or if I can convert them on the wife's iMac later tonight.
  21. Is there any kind of conversion utility available on the PC? I tried opening those BMP's in Photoshop and Fireworks and neither recognized them. I don't think that I have any graphics programs on my wife's iMac that would convert them (OS 10.1), image magik maybe?
  22. I see you got it uploaded, let me know if it was more difficult a process than it should be or if you had any problems! Thanks for stopping by. P.S., The scenario, Wine and Blood can be downloaded here.
  23. No problem. First you'll need to join the site. You can either join to just upload/download scenarios, or you can fill out a profile of your style of gameplay and be listed among others for TCP/IP and/or PBEM matches. Click the button that says "Join", you'll see instructions and have a choice of which membership you want (both free). After joining, click the button that says "Scenario Upload". If you have cookies enabled on your browser you won't be prompted to log in with your new account, otherwise go ahead and log in. After you've logged in, you'll be at the scenario details screen. Fill in the information as presented...scenario name, which game it's for, battle location, etc. Press the button that says "Proceed" at the bottom. The next screen will ask you to select the actual scenario that you've made (you'll have a window that will let you navigate your harddrive). Select it and then press "Upload". All done.
  24. If it's a scenario that you would like to have others playtest for you (not fully finished or in need of feedback for fine tuning), then I'd like to recommend uploading it to The Proving Grounds (link in sig below). If it's finished, then you should upload it to the Scenario Depot, locate here.
