I played the '39 scenario as the axis and invested 5 points into jets early on. By '41 I had level 5 jets and while this was happening I invested 3 points in heavy tanks and 2 points in radar with each reaching level 4 by '41. I think this one was just good luck, because I haven't had a repeat of this yet.

My game has frozen twice while the Russians were purchasing units. What can be done to fix this?

Two very good ideas that show the true abilities of tank groups in those cases. Maybe we'll see it in a later edition or patch.

The wait is almost over!!! The game will be $25 and having not played HC I can't help you there, but there are many threads comparing the two games.

I agree with mooshes idea about being able to remove the air fleets from the carriers, but we unfortunately won't be able to see something like this until a sequal most likely.

Will carrier strength increase as jet aircraft research is successfull? I would imagine it would, but I just wanted to double check. Thanks in advance.

I think the Soviets have the advanced tanks not only to show the superiority of the T-34, but also the Soviet heavy tanks. The KV-1 and KV-2 series of tanks had much better armor and firepower than any tank the Germans had at the time. German airpower, the overwhelming number of German tanks, and the 88mm flak were the only effective way the Germans were able to counter the Soviet tanks in the beginning of the war.
