  1. Just kidding. Just wanna keep you on your feet!
  2. Ditto! When can we expect it?
  3. I am glad to hear it! I must admit I have never been much in these forums but this game has a grip on me. Therefore I surprise myself by logging on to the forum more often than I realy have time to. Kinda funny having a relationship with tecnology!
  4. I understand that Mannerheim, you have a special place in your heart for Finland and / or their cause. I had the pleasure of meeting some Finnish mech troops in Lebanon in the 80`s. Great guys. They even game me about 200 rounds of 7.62 ammo. I used it with a captured AK47 for fun. They used a modified Finn version of the AK47 using the same ammo. They rode in Sisu Apc`s similar to Soviet BTR`s.
  5. I keep seeing posts at all times of the day from some members. Are they always on the forum? Just wondering!
  6. I agree. Secondly I too believe the war in the west and South (Med)has be won at sea. With airpower assistance. Controling the seas and Gibralter cripples the allies. Still there is the problem with USSR. Attacking Yugo should be delayed due to Soviet "war factor". When the full game arrives one could test this strategy further. My plan would be the control of the seas and then with corps and some air protecting the west front armies could be massed on the eastern front.
  7. I have bought the game how about a one year extention of the demo while we wait?
  8. I agree about a defensive position against USSR. And keeping a hold on the European continent. I tried this aproach with the demo and it worked well. I used the Italian navy in the Med very effectively to limit UK influence here. Broke through Gibralter and used the It navy to help control the Atlantic. Simulaniously taking Portugal and Spain (after the fall of France). This gave me an edge in both the Med and the Atlantic. German Air & Navy were built and manitained in the Channel / Baltic. Unfortunatly the demo ended before I could see the end result but it game the best advantage and it was fun using IT navy to help sing allied shiping in the Atlantic.
  9. I think it better if you bought a game only covering the Finnish campaign. I'm getting sick of Finland.
  10. A download copy would be an option, others could buy the complete box. This could mean different pricing also. When it comes to european customers I think they would be delighted to not have to wait for shipping even if though it ships out of Ireland. When it comes to conection speeds I dont think Europeans will have a problem. I reside in Norway and know that when it comes to telecomunications we are way ahead. ISDN is in continental Europe today the standard. Analoge com is out along time ago. Today about 30% have broadband. Downloading would in my mind be a sales boost due to the fact that the game will bnot be sold in stores and therefore the internet site would be like the highstreet shop were you can get accesability right away and no hassels.
  11. Why not sell a downloadable version? This will reduse costs and save the environment. Usuallly there is too much paper and cardboard in the box. Furthermore if one could buy and download online the customer vould start playing at once. When I shop online it is maynly software and because I can download it and use it now. If I like a game I want it right away. Having to have to wait might turn you off! So how about it start downloading games? Who needs to wait for the extra paper trash anyway?
  12. - I JUST TRIED THE DEMO AND IT WAS GREAT. IT FEELS LIKE THE GOOD OLD BOARD GAMES OF THE EARLY 8O'S. VERY MUCH LIKE "THIRD REICH". IS THERE A FULLY PLAYABLE CAMPAIGN AS YET. I TRIED TO BUY THE GAME ONLINE BUT IT IS NOT OUT YET. THIS FEELS LIKE A TEESE TO GET YOU STARTED AND THEN CALLING IT QUITS.
