  1. I have several personal hosting accounts and I could set aside a section on one of them for this if needed. I might not have enough time to actively help out in the development or help running the show but I could make the space available if there is enough need. I ran meta campaigns using the Steel Panthers game for many years so I may be able to help out.
  2. Hi John, Have you guys made any revisions since the last copy I got from you?
  3. The thing with CM:SF is that there is no random map generator so either you have to re-use the available ingame maps over and over or someone needs to build the maps manually as they are needed.
  4. Maybe they are asking the same questions?
  5. Maybe they were asking if this thing is dead in there too?
  6. Quick question. Is it set up to work with CMAK now?
  7. Can I hold my breath it it would help!
  8. I more curious to know if there is a version for CMAK in the works? Haven't heard anything in a long time on that subject
  9. I think I might Love You ! ! ! Between this tool and Pal Woje's COCAT my Campaigns will become a lot easier to run.
  10. I would be interested in the Mapping Mission file. What is the total map size? I would need it to build any campiagn type game using these maps. This is so I could crop the actual areas where a fight would be determined to take place.
  11. Does anyone have detailed OOB related information on the fighting in this area? I am sure there is more on the net somewhere but just wondered if anyone had the info handy. I think these maps/battle would make an excellent mini campaign with 3-6 players.
  12. You mean along the lines of CMMC2? I am working on something like that for October 1944 in Hungary. What area do the maps you have completed cover?
  13. I was wondering if anyone knows of some good websites or books about this subject (Operation Hercules - planned Italian/German invasion of Malta). I have started searching the web but have found only 1 or 2 sites so far. I am considering doing a combat campaign operational/multiplayer game using CM:AK to play out the tactical battles. Any information or direction would be greatly appreciated. I have a pretty good start on the OOB's but every little bit extra helps.
  14. Decided I would put this idea up for thought. I noticed there are numerous players running multiplayer campaigns/tournaments on this site and others. So, what is everyone's thoughts about establishing a webring to have all these people listed with their game website url's. I know many post their events on the forum here but they eventually drop off the bottom of the page and probably are forgotten about. What I did was set one up using my website as the base. Anyway, your thoughts on this?
  15. Thanks to everyone for the response for this campaign. Right now it looks like all ACTIVE commands have been taken. Anyone wishing to sign up from this point forward will be given a reserve position to replace anyne who might drop out. Depending on my available time and how things are going, I may activate reserve commanders so more people get to play but that is a maybe.

  17. Actually another person created it and I am just using it. I think it's written in C++ but am not sure. Its a stand alone program and not associated with CM.

  19. Pillar, PBEM will not be a problem. I would prefer to use TCP/IP because games can be played faster BUT due to time differences I realize this would run off a lot of players from Europe and I am trying to find a way to include all interested parties. So if you want to hang in there until more details are finalized I will work with you as long as you are comfortable.

  21. Hi Pilar and Cpt Cook. We will try to play TCP/IP as much as possible. It is not mandatory but will speed things up. Each player will almost always only play 1 game at a time for this campaign. There may be a rare case of more than 1 if they have their force dispersed over a large area of the strategic map. There are a couple Axis commands still open but I have many more soviet commands open. You can see the options on the website (link in my sign). Overall in the campaign the unit commands open right now are; Soviet (x5), Partisan (x2), German (all taken), Romanian (x3), Italian (x1) and Hungarian (x1). One interesting thing about this campaign is that I give each player 1000 points to build his own force to command from that Nation's OOB. Then you use your force to support the overll team mission.

  23. Axis positions filling up pretty well but sure could use some Soviet commanders

  25. Each commander will have a unit that will be 1000 points in size but this is a strategic level game where only the forces who actually engage will fight the CMBB tactical battles. Forces could be as small as 250 points or even smaller. Really it depends how they are deployed on the larger campaign map.
