  1. "...navigationally challenged missile-jockeys..." *lol*
  2. How can I post AARs or graphics/pix? These way I could share my brilliant victories whit the rest of you P.S.: (Its to nice to go against poeple whoe play C&C and therefor think they are good at taktics.)
  3. the little ribbons that rindorf spoke about... i really hate those! Imagine comming into a wood where these little f...ers still hanging in the trees!(so much for a save convoi route!!)
  4. to make the cylinders face down!(?)...one word aerodynamics
  5. Why not...I just have to get the IRC running
  6. Lets see if i got it right: I use small units (even single vehicles) for recon, with enough firepower behind them to knock out spotters/screening forces. ? I have to move(ideal) in cleared(of enemy) terrain, ready to head for cover. ? Of course using "fire&movement" When I have to take terrain I go with full force, not piece by piece. ? thanx alot. I will try it that way. When I improved, you could tell me something about "meeting engagements"
  7. Lets say i try charge on a few MechInf companies with a reinforced MechBtl(3 APC companies , 1 Tank company, antitank-platoon and support units(air def, observers etc). + I don't know where their FBEA is How do I arrange my troops? How strong should a decoy attack be? What should I use for protecting my flanks? How deep could I penetrate enemy territory(medium resistance)?
  8. To immobilize a BTR (or other APC)with riflefire you just have to know where the driver sits
  9. I can confirm that. We fired on some BTR and BMPs with our rifles (H&K G3)from about 150-200m...they went right through. I have to add:these APCs where old wrecks, perhaps a little rusty.
  10. I just want to add some tougths to the 13 points from thejames. to point 1.) there you could argue that this just reflects the skills of the leader. 100 % pertfect ...(what is the english word for "Zielansprache") to point 4.) I agree.I also would add that fire (MG or BMK) would suppress/disturb the crew.Even when there is no damage on the vehicle. (a MG-salvo(7.62 mm) hitting the Tank you are sitting in is quite "impressive"!When I imagine it to be 20 or 30mm...)
  11. MajorH First i have to say: This game is great!! And it really helped me to graduate! But:where did you get the "German PzGrenGrp" photo? 2 things indikate there is something wrong: -the Oberleutnant is wearing a fieldhat(not a green barett) -he has blue stripes =>HE IS FROM AN TRANSPORT OR LOG: UNIT!
  12. I just realized that there are german units in the demo version. Will there be missions for them in the full version? ( Well, at least i can buillt "my" PzGrenBtl(+),i just have to borrow the mortars for the 6th from somewhere.) After all the game locks great!! Michael PS.:Very kind to give the "Marder" 3000 m range

F...! The online order does not work! It tells me somefing about cookies?? Normaly my system accepts such stuff. Is there any other way to oder ist? Will it in some shops? (I'll be in NY this from 011500bsep02-so is there a shop?) bye Michael
  14. Maybe i just missunderstood "diamondshape". The platoonleader sign i described i actually the thing i've got on the back of my helmet So i was wrong, on maps its of course the "flagpole". mmmpf ... stupid me bye michael
  15. Wasn't the diamond-shape used for single persons? Like, the platoon leader gets 3 dots and one angle over a diamond ( i mean a square standing on one edge) ? Or are we talking about different shapes here?? bye Michael
