Hey, is there a MOD package to cover alot of things. Like one mode for all allie units, or one mod for all german units. There seem to be mods for ONE type of unit over the others.

Another question, I want to download some winter mods, however will these only show up in winter scenerios? Or do I just have to keep changing the mods back and fourth.

Also, can someone tell me what CMMOS is?

I understand what MODS do in general. What i was saying is what is the standard popular or great mod that is the most used for CM.

Im looking for recommendations for a mod to choose.

What is a good MOD to enhance the graphics.

And... are there any mods that actualy increase the poly counts and show full 12 man squads? Instead of the 3 men that are visible?

1:) Terrain elevation markers. Its sometimes difficult to really tell the elevuation of terrain without having to use the LOS feature for every single unit.

2:) I really wish WAR games would break out of this 2 player only mentality. I mean this would be awesome to play CM with 3 companys vs 3 other companys and have 6 players on a local LAN. Great team play!

Any ideas if these two features are a plan in motion for a patch or CMBB?

hmm, well the problem is, if i send a command unit to a location so he can see the battle field, i use HIDE so he wont engage the enemy and give his position away.

I guess i could just setup a false ambush, this may work as a hold fire command?

If i put my company HQ in the top floor of a building and set him to HIDE. Will the HQ unit still be an effective commander? Will he still scout out and report enemy activity?

Well according to the 18 page demo document, the sneak order initiates a "high rating for enemy engagement", which means they will be looking for targets to fire upon.

They really shoud seperate movement and rules of engagement in this game, have them 2 seperate settings, instead of combined into one.

If i want to position my troops to the edje of a forest line, then hide, this works fine.

However IF they see an enemey before they reach the forest line, and therefor have not excuted the HIDE command, they will open fire.

How can i have my troops keep their trap shut during movement? To hold fire until i want them to open fire.
