I have been checking out the TOW for several days now and the graphics are absolutely incredible. However it is more mouse in a maze or say donkey kong. You know exactly where the computer has put it,s forces and exactly where the computer is going to do it,s suicidal banzai charge. Even with the patches that will keep your armor from wandering into kill zones and becoming hors de combat. It is the donkey kong syndrome that I have a problem with in this game. In my humble opinion this thing is a pig. I want a game that has more substance than glitter this thing is all glitter.

AMD dual core drivers & optimizer software
schmegeg replied to jhmorneau's topic in Theatre of War Tech Support Forum
I have a new inspiron e1705 dell with a intel duo core thing running on vista and it has some new graphics thing it is brand new. The problem is I have asphalt, tar, and css1 tac stuck to me at the end of the day. I have to drive a 75' long transfer dump through heavy traffic. I do this stuff because I am as sharp as a bag of wet mice. I can't get the demo to run on my pc and if you can dummy it down for me I would like a reply. -
I have a question about tow is it hard to find a multiplayer game and how do you go about it? Also I would like to know how others who play cmbo cmak cmbb think of this game. If you are not one who has played these games I don't care about your opinions!

I found out that the patch for some reason was loading onto my CMBO game but was able to put into the CMBB and it loaded like a champ!
-
I have the Retail version of the game which I purchased before it came out. It came with the manual, the patch that I down loaded was zipped for some reason and I have down loaded twice I must of done something wrong when I downloaded the patch.
-
I have down loaded the 1.01 patch but it won't give me the updated version. The patches were put into zip files that I unzipped and tried to put into the game files, could someone give me some detailed advice on where and how they are installed. Thanks!

The Schmegeg Report: D v X Audacity @ Aullion 57 for D 43 for X This was my absolute favorite scenario not just the unit mix but the way the whole battle played out. Boy was I shocked to find that I do not have market cornered in snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. This one came right down to the wire each losing our last tank within seconds of each other. What a great scenario and a great opponent. This was my final battle for this tournament and I would like to thank all of my opponents for a great series. The main point I would like to point out is that there was no gamey tactics used by anybody in these encounters. And that all of these games has introduced me to individuals that I would consider friends. -

The Schmegeg Report: D Versus Z Birds of Prey We are sure there is something wrong here but here goes Allied D 63 Axis Z 35 it honestly could of gone either way, but the game rifle goes to the opposing team's Obg Knappe, he took out 3 Armored vehicles with a Faust under heavy enemy fire his widow of course will recieve the honors because we weren't sporting enough to take him prisoner. -

Scenarios are great I don't have a single complaint. Maybe you could offer a crying towel to the one with the lowest points. I would like to get something out of this tournament! -
