Now that CMAK is out and i am determined to play simultaneously CMBB and CMAK games (unlike when CMBB arrived i quickly stopped playing CMBO) i have to swap the CDs constantly, putting both the CD player and the CD itself at risk (mechanical failure or scratch).
What would you gentlemen recommend ; are there any double CD players ? What other solution may i consider ?
Thank you in advance.

Ok, Stuffit worked. Thanks to both of you.

I see, thank you Andreas.

I downloaded a scenario on the SD but cmbb doesn't recognize the file because it's a .cme.sit (?) file instead of .cme.
What am i supposed to do to play it ?

A 1-5 rating plus a comment and indications of how it was played (PBEM, IP or AI) + the result would be sufficient.
About Skulpturny Park, the comments mentionned above by Michael didn't prevent me from downloading it and play it. A silly review must not be taken too seriously.

Definitely a great idea.

My PzIII platoon HQ in a Kursk scenario was gun damaged very early in the battle, but bravely faced several T-34s during the rest of the battle, machine guns blazing, and finally survived.
He never fell back even when targeted in scattered trees by two T34 at the same time at 50m range, 76mm rounds ricocheting on his turret armor.

Still have CMBO installed, but not playing it anymore. I'll continue to play CMBB along with CMAK.

I'd recommend
Boots & Tracks High Tide
Boots & Tracks Hedgehog Hell

The officers of the Foreign Legion wear black képis.Originally posted by von Lucke:I was kinda hoping the kepi blanc would make it in --- at least for HQ units.

Played it PBEM as germans.
MG fire took out one Tiger crew member.
Two turns later, a ricocheting MGC AP round caused internal armor flaking, hitting another crew member.
Apparently the rest of the crew decided 3 men was not enough to man the beast, so they abandonned it.
End of the story and of my victory hopes.

The French too don't have the rank system in the game.Originally posted by Ant:At present (so far as I've seen) all units use the CMBB rank system apart from the US and the British airborne (standard brit/ commonwealth infantry use the rank method). So we've got two different styles in the game at the moment.

Is there already a Mapping Mission version compatible with CMAK ?
-
Allied units portraits should be upgraded to the quality standards of CMBB (shoulder & rank style).

Thank you Martin for the (light speed) quick reply.
So it means that if i deploy far behind in the night set-up, the day after set-up zone can be reduced in size ?

Bump.
Now i can start playing CMAK.

Now it starts looking like the real Stalingrad !
Good AAR.

When, by player's decision, a night battle is skipped in an operation, is there a new set-up phase (different than the nigh set-up), or does the battle start with the set-up done before ?

CMAK finally arrived in Paris !!

Count me in the CMAKless club for this week-end.

CMAK, CMBB or CMBO???

Graphically CMAK is the best of the three. CMBB will stay an absolute must for long because of the theatre.
CMBO was a nice game but now it's history. IMHO.
