  1. When I drop a 76 mm armed Paladin it always shows 100 AP rounds and no HE. Is there a way the player can specify what the ammo loadout will be? I am playing the demo while I'm waiting for my full-blown CD to arrive. Thanks, Jack
  2. Am I seeing this right? When I select the Paladin with the 76 mm main canon, it only shows AP rounds. Why would it not have HE rounds? Is it a matter of there being no room in the vehicle for it? Just curious.
  3. Where is the screenshot of the upcoming infantry? Thanks!

    CD/DVD

I purchased the CD over a week ago and still have not received it. I don't think there is a problem. It just takes three to four weeks to arrive.
  5. Isn't there already a point system? I recall seeing a column with points at the end of the game. In lieu of being denied a kill because someone scuttled or disconnected, it would be nice if each player could see what they had accomplished during the fight. For instance, if a hit that you scored disabled the engine on an enemy vehicle, let me know that at the end of the game. I guess it comes down to whether or not you want to see what actually happened when it's all over.
  6. I recently downloaded the newest demo version of DropTeam. I recently purchased the game and while I await its arrival, I figured I would get some practice in. One thing I noticed that's a bit annoying is that it's hard to get credit for a kill. I certainly do my share of getting killed, but when I actually get another player's vehicle to the point where its virtually incapacitated and I'm about to finish the job, the opposing player simply scuttles their vehicle or disconnects, thereby denying me the credit of taking them out. I have been gauging my performance on how many times I died vs how many kills I scored. The aftergame report that comes up when time runs out shows this ratio. I know I would have done better if the opposing players whose vehicles I incapacitated, didn't just start again before the game pronounced them dead. Are there any thoughts on this out there in DropTeam land? Looking forward to getting the full-blown version of the game.
  7. I think you should purchase CMAK. There are a few more visual bells and whistles that are nice. I wish CMBB had them.
  8. You won't be sorry you purchased this game. I can't recall how many years I've had these games and I still play them almost every day. It's amazing! Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
  9. Downloaded this the other day. I love it! Are those key symbols 1st SS Panzer?
  10. OH DADDY-O! Looks like another must have mod from MikeyD!
  11. Wasn't the Type 89A a Japanese tank? I think you're in the wrong forum. This is the Eastern Front forum.
  12. I have this card. BFG makes an overclocked-out-of-the-box version. It's a nice card. I think BFG also makes the 7800 series card you mention. Also overclocked-out-of-the-box.
  13. It's trivial. Don't worry about it. The mod is brilliant!
  14. In reference to the missing bmp, is the late version Tiger supposed to have the box on the back or not? I re-downloaded the late version today, 6/13, and still see a vague outline of a box. I'm assuming that what I'm seeing is the shell that can't be altered by any modder no matter how gifted they are. If I'm wrong, let me know. Thanks!
  15. This is good advice. The newer cards are power hungry and the power supply has to be up to the task.
  16. Everything about your rig looks pretty good to me, with the exception of the 5200 video card. Just go get a 6800 or 7800 series AGP card. The clock speed on your processor is awesome! Is that an extreme P4?
  17. Probably stating the obvious here. Check your BIOS settings. I had stability problems when I raised a particular setting from Aggresive to Turbo, the clueless overclocker's setting. The only other thing I tried was re-seating the processor using arctic silver paste. It's supposed to help the heat a bit.
  18. My system specs are almost identical to JasonC's. I just recently experienced a problem where my machine would simply shut off. I re-seated all of the cards, memory, processor and the problem went away. I found a RAM module was loose, the clip was not fully clamped down. Just thought I would throw this in. Sounds like this problem is a bit different, but you might want to check this out. Good luck!
  19. Good choice. I'll be eagerly awaiting this masterpiece.
