Great job Tom! It was worth the wait. Now you can kick off your shoes, put up your feet, and crack open a couple of beers. Let me double my thank you Tom. At first I didn't like the mod that much (belive it or not!). A few of the scenarios in the snow in lower elevations (like Elsdorf) looked like more of a muddy field than a light blended snow. But then it hit me: Go to the scenario editor and globaly raise the elevation level by two or three! Ta-da! INCREASED SNOW COVER! This mod F****** ROCKS!! :eek: Great job Tom! NKVD troops wore "green hats" as the regular Soviet troops called them. They lingered in the rear areas (away from the front line action) and would shoot anyone SUSPECTED of desersion. As a result, even troops given proper leave from their units on the front lines were anxious as they passed through NKVD checkpoints. :eek:

Now those look like trees! Not glazed-over photos of trees that we have now. They have true 3D look to them. Must. . .have. . .tanks. . . . .trees. . . . . .

Dave H, I have a couple PBEM scenarios for us if you want to have a go. We can wait until the tourney is over, or start now. The scenario I'd like to try is Schwarzwald Bridge . I played another scenario PBEM from this designer called Too Little, Too Late, at it was really fun! I have not opened up Schwarzwald yet, so we would be going in double-blind. Lemmie know. And let me know if you want to play as Germans, or on Defence, or whatever your prefs are.

1) No. BTS is done with all updates/patches to CMBO from what I understand 2) No. There are no user mods that give the game new vechicle types. Just new skins to the current list. 3) Yes. Some squads do have them, depending on the scenario design.
