  1. Nope. Not in there. Oh well. Thanks for your help. I guess I'll just keep 'em with the whitewash and just convert the wheels like I did for the normal versions. If anyone else knows anything about these snow covered hasty PzJgrs, let me know.
  2. Okay, I found the rulesets you are talking about and downloaded them. May of the AFVs have the snow covered camos (like the above pictured halftracks), and many of them are in the hasty style, but not so with the PzJagers. They are only listed there in whitewash and ambush snow covered--no hasty. I know this mod exists. I d/l it when they were first released. Hmm...
  3. I'll give it a shot. I didn't realize it was all compressed into CMMOS like that. I thought the main file was just the program itself, free of all mods (and then you had to add them yourself). I'll post here one way or the other.
  4. I hesitate...it's a monster by the look of the map! Have you scouted out a force yet? This might be one of those giants that you can only do one turn a day with.
  5. Now with Mike's better looking roadwheels: To anyone: If you find the winter mods I am looking for, me love you long time!
  6. Nope. I hope they aren't forever lost. I really like them, and I use the non-winter versions...
  7. Yeah, they weren't at CM.com, but they were the JagdPanzers with the ambush camo with this kind of snow job on them: I'll try looking up Fernando at the database.
  8. Or anyone else that might be able to help. I'm looking for Gordon's old PzJgr IV's from CMBO in their "ambush camo" pattern. Specifically, I'm looking for the snow covered ones. Not the whitewash, but the snow covered. I also want these particular winter files with the mesh side skirts if possible. I have the non-winter files, and I use them in CMBB, but I need the winter versions and I can't find them anywhere anymore. Anyone? 9. Looks F*&^ing HUGE. I downloaded it (even though I like the smaller stuff).
  10. Awesome, guys! Thanks for all the input. I will keep the GPU and OS in mind when building my rig. I don't want to leave CMx1 behind until I have no other choice.
  11. Had 'em forever. I believe they're MikeyD's (think he made them before CMAK's release). You can probably still get them at the database. Here they both are in CMBB: But we're hijacking this thread, so let's drop my Val BS for now. Let me be the first to say I'm sorry for starting the hijack.
  12. Think I might just do my new build with a copy of XP.
  13. Their speed is what makes them so great, because that sloped armor isn't always as great as people think it is supposed to be. And speaking of reversing, check this out: Val kills a Pz IVG He killed an earily PzIV while in full reverse and buttoned up! He didn't even fire a bracketing shot (granted it's a pretty close engagement). He got the SOB on the first shot!
  14. That's a CM tradition...we leave behind the old games as soon as a new one comes out. Don't fret though. There are still some of us around. I imagine it'll be that way until we see WWII become part of the CMx2 engine. I myself am an Ostfront whore, so I'll continue CMBB'g off and on until I find something better (and I don't see that happening anytime soon!).
  15. The graphics "upgrades" just look like some improved textures. Big whoop--CMx1 modders have been doing that for years.
  16. One way or the other, this is all moot. There will be no more patches to any of the CMx1 games. BFC has proven this. Once the next game comes out, the previous one goes as dead and limp as a duck in a hunting dog's mouth. We all continue to play it, but BFC completely ignores it.
  17. Didn't CMBO have a "winded" condition that could be recoverd from rather quickly? I think that might be prudent here.
  18. All that'd be left would be to pump some Hendrix, Morrison, Stones, and Credence out of the stereo while we played! All right, Steve--I second Vietnam! But only after you guys visit at least one theater of WWII first!
  19. Nam would be cool. US Army airmobile troops disembark in a grass field, advance into the jungle as the dusters and the gunships lift off from the LZ, then your platoon get's ambushed in the bush by Viet Cong. Hell yeah, baby! Almost no armor--everything would be close up infantry fights! How's that grab yah, Mord?
  20. Yep, I'm back with the oldies. Eastfront is my fav too, Steve.
  21. Hmm. Very interesting. This is sounding more and more like a video card issue like Leprechaun said. I'm not going to build a powerhouse rig anyway, so I might just go for a slightly older and less expensive video card. Oh, and a Nvidia one at that! CM hates the Radon in my laptop.
  22. I like the anamations. The fact that AFVs don't stop on a dime anymore and wheeled vechicles have a turn radius rather than pivot on a pinhead is great! Troops look WAY better too--but they need a more natural look to them as they drop dead. The "floating down" anamation is pretty weak. I want to see them crumple like a sack of potatoes!
