I have used the quick battle editor about 5 times , just trying out ideas I have had for awile. And I see that all the battles I have made are still on the battles list in the game . Is there any way to get rid of these old qwick battles ? Thanks BnickB

Hi One and all I ordered TOW + add on disc two weeks ago and No game yet. Guess I should have sprung for the download plus disk , Even with my low class high speed , wouldn’t of taken more then 36 hours. So I ask what’s the deal , when should I start really whining ? Give me the game already …. I dropped a line a few days ago , No response as yet. Seems when I bought CMBO (Many moons ago), CMBB And CMAK , Didn’t take even a week to get to me…. Want game now!!! my MB is a super PCI or PCI 2 what ever no AGP..... I now have a radeon X800 won't load this game , yes I have Tried 5 different sets of drivers and no I don't have mega bucks so sub $100.00 gafix card here I come. Thanks N

Thank you guys Looking into 7600GT or 8800GT. Gibsonm Yes running XP , Sp 2 best gamming O.S. so far. Schrullenhaft The 9600 vid card was a AGP card from my old system , My new MB is a super pci or (Express PCI) there for using a ATI X 800. Which just won't work with The CMX 2 games, so far as I can tell.. Not to worry , I have been playing Battle Front Games from day 1 . OK my original memmber forum # was around 600 . anyway once I have my Vid card thing set right , I will be ready for all the new Games. Thanks Battle Front And forum folks BnB

Played Demo great game , But..... Only able to play it on my lap top , and don’t have any vested interest in modern conflicts. (1970's vet.) Love the game engin, control set up, and You Guys. So tell me a WW II mod is in the Works and I will buy a new video card for my main system and order this game. BnB

Schrullenhaft thanks for the info my MB is PCI Express also called (super PCI) and by the by my system will play almost anything MS Flight Sim X , Imperium Rome , Settlers Rise of Nations. all put out in the last few months......... and many more........... So you are saying the Nvidia 7500GT should work ? can't use the 9600 ati as it is agp. (had one in my old system...) I will check it out. Thanks BnB

Thanks for a fast responce , the drivers i have on the system now are "8-3_xp32_dd_59746" version 8.471.0.0. they work well with CMAK. but the open GL part does not work with this card .. So what I am looking for is a tip for a good grafix card maybe a year or so old (not to much $) that does Open GL well and also Direct X . nvidia or ATI I don't care I have used all of them in the past . I have a super PCI mother board and amd 939 , 3200 prosseser thanks

I have a ati 800 X grafix card and I see from the demo it does not have or can not use open gl drivers. Can't seem to get much info from ati's web site on open gl. So could some one , any one , send me in the right direction as to which grafix cards seem to work. (and by the way this demo does run on my laptop.) but I would realy like to play this game on my gamming reg. Thanks

Hi One and all Just reloaded CMAK after a year of or so. I had forgotten how much fun it was to play. The scenario I used was a remake of “chance encounter” based on the original Demo of CMBO . What a hoot.......... Checked out the web site to see whats new . I am now down loading the new demo with the new CMX 2 system . If it is halve as much fun I will be buying , soon as I can scape together the bucks. Thanks for so many fun hours great gamming. B nick B

I have a AMD 64 prosseser super pci Ati X 800 grafix board. 1 Gig of ram. running win XP with all the latest drivers and patches. Demo will not even load. does work on my old back up system though. any ideas ???

Have you tried getting a hold of any of the old timmers ,I have a friend that was in a 155 long tom crew. Believe me he can remember 1944 like it was yesterday. Check the VA hospitals or support groups , they are a lot of fun to talk to.......... BnickB

Well I finally did it, took CMBO off my hard drive , I have gone through 3 OS changes in that time 2 major upgrades , and God Knows how many games of all kinds. And through all this CMBO has been there. Sure there were weeks I didn’t play it but when I would have enough of the latest FPS or RPG I was playing or even great games like Age of Empires (which I played the hell out of..... it was back for a few rounds of CMBO. So why no more CMBO ? Yes that is right I am the proud owner of a brand spanking new copy of CMAK.................................. OOOH the gaming goodness........... BnickB

Well I think it is worth the price , although I own CMBB , I just couldn’t get into it all that much. Fun game and I liked all the fine tunning that went into it and there is the fact that the ruskies had the major battles and all but , this is the one I had been waiting for. I love that CMBO feel plus all the fine tunning . It may be a bit dated but it still has elegance and sophistication. The best combat simulator around. (none FPS that is) You might as well just get it now , and stat having some fun. you know you want to. BnickB

Hi one and all Point 1 Here is a fine web site that cleared up a few of the many questions I still have about battalion and divisional organization , WW II. http://www.stormpages.com/garyjkennedy/General/introduction.htm I got this info from the forums at the Matrix web site ,thanks to Tim http://www.matrixgames.com/ Point 2 Finally got to try out the Demo , there have been a few changes, and as far as I can tell by the demo they all seem to be for the good.In the last go round I sent a small group of volunteers out to hide until most of the attacking force had moved on by. Then jump out and plug a few tanks if possible and do some basic damage. Well they did just fine, after taking out 2 of the last tanks to come rolling by ,it got pretty warm for them so the gave up . No problem they took steam out of the attack , as they started marching off back to the rear my counter attack ( at the front ) really started to heat up. So about 2 thirds of the group took of and hid. It was so cool , I clicked on troops to see what was going on and it said ,unarmed for the ones that ran away and hid while the ones still marching toward the rear said captured. Only played the Demo a few times and each time I have seen lots of great little changes so I guess I am going to have to buy this one to. Enough for now must get back to the game............. BnickB
