  1. Mark; No, I fully understand. I play with a group of friends, even to this day. Never PBEM, not even once and rarely against the AI. No WeGo in network play is puzzling to me and a deal breaker. Im sure CM:SF is an amazing game, just not going to fit with how I play. A few bugs here and there are no big deal, remember the first CM Im sure it will get sorted out and everyone will be happy. I will check back later in the year and see if it has WeGo network, if not, thats cool. Absolutly nothing wrong with CMBB at all Steel
  2. Mark, Nah, I hate RT games. No exeption, I am just not fast enough to deal with them and actually find them stressful to play. Im not sure the manditory pause concept will do it for me. But, in the end, its just a game, im not going to rant, just move on and see what happens. Take care. Steel
  3. Well, I can see from my reading that this is a super hot topic. CMFS is CC updated it seems. Oh well, Im sure Charles had his reasons, I will check back in a few months and see if it has moved back to the original concept, if not, thats ok too, I still have all the other CMs to play. Thanks for the clarification. Steel
  4. Howdy all, very old time CM player cruising back to see what is going on with the new game. Im am very happy to see CMII has been released but if I read all the noise correctly, the tcp/ip does not have WeGo? That cant be correct, can someone clarify for me please. Thanks. Steel
  5. Just started playing on some pre-made maps against my brother. Boy, what a nice feature to the game. The maps that we have downloaded are very good. The game generated maps are prettey generic, but these are awsome. What would be nice, would be a tool to look at maps without having to load a game. How hard would something like that be? Perhaps BFC could yank the engine for a viewer for download. Might also be a cool marketing gimick. What do you all think? Kevin;
  6. Hehe, see my sig this is from CMBO, my brother is assulting me and I went with a lot of wire. He is trying to cross about 20m of openground thrugh wire and smoke. I think I have had it, until his spotting round for the 155 VT lands right on top of his whole platoon in the wire. Dead to the last man, and entire platoon He was not amused... Kevin;
  7. After playing several tcp/ip games it occurs to me that the pre game negotiation is both complex and frought with error. We now have so many options that it is getting to be a pain to get setup correctly. That all being said, I think that the solution would be to allow both opponents to connect to the game at the setup screen. Allow both people to see the setup screen and all changes being made. It would be important to have chat ability during this time so they could negotiate the parameters to play with. Dont know how hard it might be to implement this, but it sure would be nice. Cheers.   8. I think the question He is asking is if other types of devices will work with CM. Since the game is windows based, any pointing device that windows recognizes should work. Personal exprience tells me that in the end of the day, mice are better. I have tried a scratch pad (on my laptop) a trackball and a pointing stick (erasor thing on some laptops). All of them work but most suck for fine control. Take care. Kevin;
  9. I am terribly sorry MrPeng, perhaps someday Just to try to put some CM content here, does anyone know if a .50 M2 can penetrate 4mm of aluminum at 70% slope Kevin;
  10. Noooo, not a minivan I can not imagine a worse fate than that My wife and I decided long ago that minivans were a little to much like the "panelwagon" of the 90's. OH well, I thought I would see if another fellow NSX'er was here as well. Take care. Kevin;
  11. Just came across someone called Peng on the NSXPRIME forum and was wondering if our very own Peng is the same guy?
  12. Hmmm, It might make sense to have fish wear something distintive. Do we know how many folks are coming, perhaps a CM reservation would be good. Just though. Kevin
  13. I live out in Oswego, I am game Love to meet Rune in person. Kevin;
