  1. Looks outstanding Hubert! I really like the road concept and the larger sized maps. The Russian Front looks like it is supposed to now. I can't wait. Best Regards, k98 www.ironlegions.net
  2. I'm playing a great pbem game right now and a thought came to me. Others may have had the same. A world view with the Japanese as protagonists and changing boundaries after WW2 and the resultant Cold War period with all the period technology being possible to research. Think about the Russians invading 1950's Europe in game or Russian subs arriving into the Atlantic and US ships countering/fighting, etc. I think a cold war variant/extention might be interesting. I think an add on pac with these ideas down the line would sell. Just a thought...
  3. Sounds great! Email and turn sent. Arditi
  4. Morning Gents, Looking for a full campaign pbem. I'm an old fart having played wargames since the 70's. This game is the computer WW2 game I have been waiting for I believe. I want to get 1-2 turns in a day, safely, maybe more on weekends...?, play the Germans and finish the game...no quitting over perceived inadequacies of the game/computer, etc. A "surrender" is ok... As patches come in I would like to have us add them to the current game we are playing. The other options are negotiable. Let me know. My email address is arditi@cox.net Somebody who can communicate and stay in touch preferable. Regards, Arditi
  5. I have the need to say this is one slick game system. The amount of depth in hidden, until read, rules is really nice. This game is much deeper than is initially evident. I have read the rules and it gives me a whole new appreciation at what is at our fingertips. I like the slower pace of this game compared to the last. The larger spaces(map) is also a plus. Upgradeable, nameable and unit history tracking of units gives one special interest in certain units. I get the sense that getting a handle on unit entrenchments will make a large difference in how the game is played. This is not a game for RTS enthusiasts. This is a game of paper and chits that I enjoyed as an adolescent in the 70's. This game would be a die rollers nightmare if the computer didn't handle most of the computations. Nicely done. I don't write often, but man this game is great so far...I don't play much solitaire...I enjoy pbem due to family and work constraints. I look forward to seeing addons and possibly a world wide conflict from Mr. Cater in the future.....?
  6. Forgive me if I did not read it. I am at work and heading home in a couple hours for Easter holiday and hopefully some SC2. My question is this...if I preordered yesterday will I be able to download today or will it be later this week? Again, sorry for the repeat if it happened. Many Thanks, Russ
  7. Afternoon Gents, I have not played this game in awhile. I'll be off work until after New Years. Anybody want to get a balanced pbem scenario going. I can kick back multiple turns in a day since I'm off. I'll be back in a bit. Have to take the kids to the park. My email is arditi@cox.net Thanks.
  8. oops... www.arditi43.com that is. K98

Take a look at www.arditi43.com...I look forward to handling the Italian forces in North Africa in the this incarnation of Combat Mission! Does anyone know if the Italian paratroopers of North Africa or the RSI government are playable? Saluti, K98
  10. Anybody up for a pbem game? I can do one turn a day and possibly more on weekends. Check out my website...www.arditi43.com
  11. Thanks Audace and Nippy, I'd like to see a scenario of the last cavalry charge of the century. The Italian charge on the Russian positions at...where was it again? Now that would be a cool scenario. K98 visit my site at www.arditi43.com
  12. Thanks Hellfish, How many different Italian related scenarios are listed? k98

  16. Hi Guys, I've been lurking on this site for quite awhile. Played the demo and ordered the game yesterday...can't wait to get some pbem going. If you guys have the time check out my WW2 site...www.arditi43.com Work in progress.
  17. Hi...on Italian organisation, etc. you might try the websites...Coorte...AMICI and the Italianisti forum which is free and accessible through the AOL AMICI site. Email me on my other account at Meloki36@cs.com if you want the exact addresses. It's easier for me to give you the addresses from that account. I'm excited about tactically moving the Italian around in the new incarnation of this game. Stupid question, since I've been out awhile, when is the release date? Russ
  18. Hey Guys, I am the bidder on the photo. I was aware that it is two vehicles and have bought nice items/photos from Charles before. I have not been ripped off by him yet, but I appreciate the "heads-up" from you guys. It shows a real citizenship that is rare these days. I am a collector of WW2 Italian, Russian and German militaria and an old Marine Corps tanker. If you have a chance, check out my WW2 site. Thanks again you guys, Russ www.geocities/warphotos.com
