  1. Well, judging from the headache and burning acid stomach....yesterday's war party was a success Great to meet all the guys who made the effort to come round. Special thanks to Jurrie for bringing the beamer as this greatly enhanced the preview experience and turned the lounge into a true Wargamer's lair It is safe to say that CM:BN brought the magic back for those who got their hands onto the preview BETA yesterday Great to hear the positive comments and see the delight on faces as Stugs/Panthers/Shermans and howling fighter bombers lit up the screens. Thanks for the beers guys! We should do this again Cheers
  2. Hi imij0607 No T-80's I'm afraid...just T-90's
  3. Hi guys Yes everything is ready for tomorrow...beers just need to cool train = beer Looking forward to meeting fellow war game freaks Tot morgen
  4. Hi Jonny I have found that to get the AI to use IED's you need to do the following: 1. Set the trigger-man up with LOS to the device, don't hide him. Give him a small tight target arc to prevent him getting trigger happy (excuse pun). Arm IED. 2. Pray you don't roll snake-eyes I spent hours re-doing the Al Huqf scenario where I had several trigger men, set up like above, and the results were fun. Sometimes IED's went off, sometimes the trigger man was killed. I used both wire and cell-phone dudes, and found that LOS was the most important in success. Good luck.
  5. Hi guys, So far I have about 10 people on the list Room for more. Jurrie will be bringing a beamer also. We will have 3 machines to take Normandy for a spin on. Cheers

  7. Hi guys Well I'm looking at Saturday the 19th February as a date for the preview/beer fest. All those who can make it, please mail me and I will get you my address details etc. As a side note, both desktop and laptop are ready to go for some LAN H2H battles Let me know cheers
  8. Great to see the response guys. The more the merrier I say
  9. Yes, the bunker is very close to Den Haag Centraal. I'm 1 tram stop from the train station, or 10 minutes stumbling distance.
  10. Ha! apart from superior television programming, surely it's the best Belgium can offer the boys North of the border? Just bring what you have McAuliffe, all warm beer and melted chocolate appreciated
  11. Hi guys I'm just wondering what sort of interest there would be for a preview of CMBN to be held in my concrete bunker in Den Haag, Holland somewhere near the end of February. The rules are simple: If you are a Belgian, please bring beer and chocolate. If German, bring beer and some sort of chewy sausage. For the Dutchies...well, anything that can be legally bought in a bakery. There is ample free parking and plenty of room, just take your shoes off at the door. I have a desktop and large screen laptop so there will be the option to play H2H while drinking the beer you will bring. Let me know so I can make the necessary arrangements. Cheers David
  12. Interesting stuff guys...I didn't realise that the assualting teams shared the same supression status. split teams it is then. Cheers
  13. Like Ron says, there is a distinct possibility of guys bugging out, then returning.
  14. Hi Ken There is a great mod which will take the cartoon colours out, it's up at the repository I believe. Makes a big difference cheers
  15. Hi Lethaface The Dutch radio thing has been noted (several times ) and will be addressed I am absolutely 100% sure I have played many Dutch scenarios and to be perfectly honest, this didn't effect the outcome nor overal game-play for me. Should be good for the next patch I reckon.
  16. Hi Wodin, The Dutch as well as Germans - speak in their native language in the NATO module cheers
  17. Hi Tom, To be sure I would finish off the old PBEM's first. NATO is at a higher release level, 1.30 I believe. David
  18. Flogger and Fitter C - hmmm - aren't these NATO names for Soviet aircraft? FV432 is a Brit vehicle also. Something strange going on
