As i understand it, in a scenario where there's more than one battle, if a vehicle isn't destroyed or its crew all dead, then it can be repaired and crewed up at the end of the battle ready the next one. That's why it's best to keep shooting at abondoned vehicles until they're destroyed. This doesn't matter in quick battles.

Should the numbers always be visible no matter what mode you are in? Wouldn't it be better to only show the numbers when in Elevation Mode, this way they wont get in your way when you're messing with the terrain. Oh and how about a center button to place the map in the center of the screen? The smaller a map gets, the further into the bottom left corner it goes, not great to look at. Marc

I'm in the middle of a couple of PBEM games and was wonder if there's a way to some how combine all the txt files involved and make just one which will play the battle from start to finish like watching a film. It would be interesting if this could be done. Marc

Hey what do you know, the spacebar works I was able to go into the editor and mess around and move back and forth between the preview screen without any bother. Although those pull down menus when setting up a game are a bit tricky. Marc

I've just noticed i posted that in the wrong forum, oops Hitting escape to bypass the intro movie is a automatic thing as that's how i bypass the intro movie in the other games i have. I'll try and remember the spacebar I'm actually scared to update or use the official drivers for my Diamond Monster Fusion 16meg AGP card, as the last two times i've had to format and re-install windows after doing so lol Using GLglide drivers i think. I'm updating the drivers the now with the GLsetup program, will let you know. Marc

The thing is, that's a lot more funnier because there are probably 100+ people in the arena who can see the newbie actually press Esc+p. When there's nobody watching, it ain't as much fun A cool feature to CM would be the ability to be a watcher in a internet game and watch as the battles take place. Sort of like those online card games, where you can watch them play, but not see the players hands, have a little chat window and stuff. Marc

I hit the escape key to bypass the movie, windows just freezes up and i have to ctrl+alt+del It also gives me the blue screen of death when i hit the preview button during map editing, it goes away and the 3D terrain appears, but all the text is screwed up. Anyone else get this? Marc

Cos i had some of my German troops hiding behide a burning sherman and this other sherman nearby started to shoot through it killing my men lol Does this forum allow screenshots? Oh, is it possible to re-crew an abandoned tank or pill box that's undamaged? Do the engineers fix damaged things as well as clearing mines? Cheers Marc

Have you not got winzip installed? Create a zip file on the floppy, drag and drop the patch file onto it, once the disk is full, it'll ask you to put another in and then it'll finish the copying. At the other computer, open the zip file that's on the floppy and drag the file to the desktop, it'll ask for the next disk when it's ready for it. Marc
