  1. Hi Schrullenhaft Appreciate the help (as always), would you mind reminding me how to boot up in safe mode again please?
  2. Hi all, I had to change my HD recently and have been unable to get CMAK to install. Had only installed it the one time before and never had an issue. Every time I try it stops after a few minutes and I get an "I/O error 1" message and it quits. I do have NAV and it does the same thing regardless of wether or not the virus and firewall features are disabled. Would like to play this again and appreciate any and all advice, thanks PS other specs are: XP home / PIV 3.5 / ATI 9700 pro / SB Platinum / 1G ram / CD & DVD-R & RW drives / intel 850 MB.
  3. Hey gents, Thanks for the prompt reply guys. I have tracked it down actually. Turns out I did not have Zone Alarm configured properly to give each computer their respective IP's. To answer your questions though Schrul, yes I had Zone Alarm before and used the IP the game gave me with no problems. The game now gives me two IP's but I did not have ZA set up to direct the right one properly. The main computer is hooked up directly to the cable modem and acts as a gateway for the second, which is hooked up to it via a switch. Appreciate your help:)
  4. Hey gang, Not sure if anyone can help me here but figure it's worth a try. To start: 1.5 P4 / W 850 chipset ATI all in wonder Raedon 32 512 RAM Had no problem playing when this was the only computer. I put in a LAN card and hooked up a second comp, through a switch and have been unable to host a game since?? I can join someone elses but not host. I do run a Zone Alarm Pro firewall on the main comp. that I beleive I have set-up properly giving CM server and local access. Any idea's out there? Thx much
  5. Evening gents, Well, I never actually figured out what the heck was going on, but since I ws planning on upgrading my soundcard anyway, now was the time. The game works fine with the new card so I have to assume a driver became corrupted that was specific to the game?? Heck I dunno, but I'm back in business! Thanks to Schrullenhaft for being so quick to assist. Appreciate it mate! Battle-on
  6. Greetings Schrullenhaft, And thanks. I tried doing CNT-C several times just in case but it has not worked. I have a PC windows ME / PIII 933/ 519 RAM / SB Live value card. Appreciate your help.
  7. Hey gang, I have never had an issue with his game for almost a year now, but....I no longer have any sound within the game??!! The movie sounds are fine and all other sounds are OK on my comp. I just do not get it. No, I have not changed anything since yesterday. About the only thing that may be relevant is that I played my first TCP game last night, in which the sound worked just fine. Would really appreciate any help out there. Many thanks   Rond71@home.com
  8. Agreed! Thanks Craig & Wild Bill. You guys may have too much time on your hands to kill but tools like this are great and I'm sure I speak for many giving kudos.
  9. .....Ah, I see grasshoppah. Is it safe to assume that if I rename it without the %20 symbol and spaces it should download OK? Thanks for the help MadMatt, I hope all get the reminder as well. Cheers
  10. Hey gang, I've noticed that some of the scenario's I've tried to download have several % symbols in their name. I'm not savvy enough to know what the heck it might mean, but I've also never been able to download one no matter how long I wait. The connection always times out. Doesn't seem to be version related either as other ones download just fine.Anyone else experiencing this ??Any assistance appreciated, thanks. Cheers -Ron
  11. Rob, I'll give it try. If your still looking for testers, send it on over. Thanks
