CMBB Gets 4-1/2 Stars, Computer Games Magazine
Yank replied to PiggDogg's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
Howdy all. I just received the new PC Gamer in the mail today , and they gave CMBB a 90%. (Highs) Awesomely realistic graphics, sound, and detail;a feeling of real combat. (Lows) The sheer complexity of the games bigger scenarios can be daunting. (Bottom Line) A personal war movie, with scenarios that draw you right into battle. And it received editors choice. Your right. [ December 05, 2002, 05:23 PM: Message edited by: Yank ] -

Wow! they look great, on my way to download them right now. Thanks alot for the time and effort that you obviously put into these. Any chance you might be doing the Russians next?( not trying to be pushy , I just like your style ) -
Howdy rksoldat. Downloaded them last night , and installed them this morning. Just popped in to say they look outstanding in the game , and thank you very much. Please keep up the great work.

Wow! Outstanding news especially the part about: * The suppression thresholds for panicking, breaking and routing are a bit higher. * Fatigue rate for sneak movement is moderately reduced. please keep up the good work. Howdy fellas. Scipio I know what you mean , I also have everything set at it's highest setting and it looks great. I agree , when I turn off anti aliasing and anisotropic filtering I notice a big difference when zoomed out to 3 or higher. Up close you don't notice near as much , and believe me zoomed out there is alot more than 1 to 5% difference in appearance. At least on my video card there is. (G-Force3 Ti200 128mb \28.32 drivers)

RealColor Mod for CMBB Finished!
Yank replied to GunMod's topic in Combat Mission: Barbarossa to Berlin
Wow! The screen shots look great, can't wait to get my grubby little paws on it. I was hoping when I noticed the name Gunslinger posting on the forum again that you might apply your magic touch. Well anyway, thank you very much. Oh and by the way, the stock bmp's look fantastic also, I just prefer the toned down(for lack of a better term) look. -
Neutral VL "?" Flag BMP number is ???
Yank replied to Pascal DI FOLCO's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
Howdy. I believe it's #449, not positive though. -
Howdy all. I'm also using the 30.82 drivers and they do work very well. I use them on a Ge-Force3 Ti200. boy I couldn't agree more , If I disable either of these features my game looks kinda crappy. When I max those features, CMBB/CMBO become a thing of beauty. At least on my system they do. By the way I'm on an xp2100 with 98se. [ October 05, 2002, 07:09 PM: Message edited by: Yank ]

Howdy fellas. I was just wondering whatever became of Gordons T-34/76 model 1940? It looked very good, and is this group project still going on? very good idea IMO. If this was brought up somwhere else I appologize, I just found this post while doing a search for flag mods, and it got me all fired up.

Got it in Sacramento. Better game, but less relevant?
Yank replied to Franko's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
Howdy Panzer76. Nope sure don't. I agree completely, the way you stated it just seemed disrespectful IMO. Hey like I said not trying to pick a fight, one thing I've learned on this forum is to respect other peoples opinion's, and learn from them if possible. Well I'll be, while I was typing my copy arrived. So it's off to the east front for me. happy gaming fellas. -

Yank replied to Franko's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
Good morning fellas. Well the east front will be more exciting IMO but do you really think the Soviets would have done it without the insignificant contribution by the west. And I dont think the fellas that gave their lives in the west considered it a little US adventure. I'll bet neither of my grandfathers thought so, or their buddies that didn't make it home. Not trying to pick a fight just my 0.02$ -
Hehe - In West Michigan and I got mine.
Yank replied to japinard's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
Happy gaming fellas. Well geez just my luck, first game I've ever pre-ordered and it appears I'll be one of the last in the states to get it. Or maybe it was to heavy for my mailman to carry on his foot route. Anyway, still waiting in Niles Michigan. -
Post here if you DID NOT GET CMBB TODAY in the USA!
Yank replied to Chad Harrison's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
Howdy fellas. Southwest lower Michigan, not in my mail today. -
Howdy WereRabbit, heck your english seems to be as good as mine and I've lived in the states all my life. Also hello to kiwi, and welcome to your home away from home.
