RoW II: The Boots & Tracks Brawl (Part IV)

Vadr, I either did not receive or accidentally deleted your email with all my spam mail. BTW, I have your email address as chaz@cgidesign.net. Is this one no longer valid? Treeburst155 out. -
The peng challenge: escape from Stalingrad?
Treeburst155 replied to Mace's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
Joe, I received #2, and sent you #3. I also just resent #3. Don't try to weasel out of this by blaming your email. Just surrender with honor... and quit your salacious salivating over Barbella! Speaking of Barbella, it's not my fault she's posting here. Your beef is with Roxy. I wouldn't get Roxy upset though, because she might start posting a bunch just to rile you up. Treeburst155, Squire to Senior Knight Moriarty, Defender of Lost Causes Roxy: Why Fleabust (not bolded, not spelled because he smells bad), you know I wouldn't do anything to anger Sherriff Joe, except maybe post a little. Kanonier Reichmann, Thanks for posting. Erick (StuGIII) has had to withdraw. I will be finishing his games. I can't seem to get through to your email address (the one posted above). I've tried several times now. Anyway, I have a turn for you for Erick's game. We might have to move the turns through a third party (at least my turns to you). Try sending me an email from the Picknowl address when you get a chance. Thanks!! Treeburst155 out. -

Yes, the median scores for each scenario will be determined by all three tourneys. The AAR bonus is 4% of the highest score achieved over all the tourneys for each AAR. A player could therefore get a max of 20% of the highest score added to his own score. There has been one instance where AARs have been the deciding factor in a section title. That was in the Nordic Wannabee tournament. Treeburst155 out. [ September 04, 2002, 01:36 AM: Message edited by: Treeburst155 ] -
The peng challenge: escape from Stalingrad?
Treeburst155 replied to Mace's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
Barbella meets The Justicar! I hope it's better than the B movie of the same name. Joe Shaw, you feeble minded frickasee, send me a setup for that "Yelnia Stare" at once! I'm blind as a bat. You have my word as a Squire. I've devoted all my CMBB time so far to the Russian side of "Citadel Schwerpunkt", which I finally managed a Total Victory in. You choose the uniform you wish to die in. If you broke down and looked at the scenario already, then Sod Off!! I'll not waste my time with you. I'll play Barbella instead. If you don't want to do battle with me for some reason then I'll know you're a lily livered lackwit. Now send me a sodding setup you slobbering Spears sycophant! Grass Mods Work, Numbered The Same
Treeburst155 replied to Treeburst155's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
Sitting Duck, I just substituted my regular grass files for the steppes. IOW, I have no steppe looking terrain. If you don't want to do this, you'll have to make the grid for the steppes since they're new bmps. There are no existing gridded steppes as far as I know. Treeburst155 out. -
Steve Grammont: Hey Matt, how long you gonna let that Cesspool overflow thread continue? You know, the "I want the game first" thread started by that senile git, Seanachai. Madmatt: Yeah, yeah, I'm watching it. If they're not gonna let it sink then I'll have to lock it up. It's just that Seanachai is soooo old. It might break his heart if I lock his silly thread. It's bad enough that we're shipping his copy of CMBB dead last. Moon: Now Matt, you know we have to ship to the old guys last. We don't want them plastering the forum with bogus bug reports while they're sloooowly ascending the learning curve. Madmatt: Yeah, I know. How 'bout this? Why don't we send Seanachai a brand new copy of CMBO right now, and tell him it's CMBB. He'll never know the difference! Steve Grammont: He's not THAT senile! Just send him a copy of Close Combat. You know, the Russian front one. That'll fake him out real good, and make him happy. Oh, and charge him an extra $30 for the early shipment.

Post Your Citadel Scores here...
Treeburst155 replied to TigerChow's topic in Combat Mission: Barbarossa to Berlin
Citadel Schwerpunkt-played three times as Russians, NO added German bonuses above what the designer already gives (200 pts). First two games were draws (50-50 and 46 AI-54 me). The third game I won 88-12. No surviving German vehicles, all flags in my possession. It's a fun scenario against the AI. Treeburst155 out. Roxy: Hi boys, and Panzer Leader! I just want you all to know I've been watching Treeburst, and he's not posting as Barbella. Really he's not. He's been quite well behaved since the CMBB demo came out. I'm off to the mall now. I want to get a little welcome gift for Barbella if Sherriff Joe doesn't kill her. Bye, bye my Heroes. Barbella wrote: "Feel free to shoot me anytime you want, at least it will be a testosterone fueled end, i can think of worse ways to go." Barbella's a woman alright. She knows I'm a "testosterone fueled" stud. Only a real woman would be able to pick up on that so fast. The only other possibility is that Barbella is Hiram. Squire Treeburst155 out. -

Treeburst155 replied to Mace's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
Uh, that would have to be me. Hiram would disagree; but I'm your stud, I am. BTW, you misspelled 'veins' and 'running'. Two misspellings in one sentence suggests to me you need to go back to your AOL chat room. If you don't, we'll have to shoot you. Squire Treeburst155 out. Squire Treeburst: Barbella, you git. You'll get no "stimulating conversation" here, just a two by four up the side of the head. Now Sod Off!! Squiress Roxanne: Well, I think it's disgusting when people come in here posing as Ladies. You can't fool me, Barbella. You're just a MEANY in disguise. You're probably Sherriff Joe. -

Kanonier Reichman, I need a current email address for you. I will be finishing your game with StuG III. The address I have is not working. To All, I think I'm only one game result shy of 75% now. That's close enough. If you have finished ALL your games, and would like to see the raw CM scores for all the games reported so far, just email me requesting the scoresheet. It will be a text conversion of my Microsoft Works spreadsheet unless you specifically state that you would prefer the wks files. The spacing on the text files will be funky, but you can make sense out of it. Fight On!! Treeburst155 out. -
I'm all gridded, colored, and generally uglied up! The steppes bmp's are 1571-1585. These will be used instead of the regular grass in scenarios on the steppes. Unlike CMBO, the ground outside the map uses the same bmp's as the map. This may be only in the demo however. Thanks, John Osborne, for trying my mod on the CMBB Demo. I never even dreamed it would work. Treeburst155 out.

What is this Peng thread I keep reading about?
Treeburst155 replied to Oasis's topic in Combat Mission: Barbarossa to Berlin
The Peng Challenge, also known as The Mutha Beautiful Thread, The One True Thread, the CessPool, and The MBT is hallowed ground populated by people who can't play CM and don't care. They hate each other with a passion, and they hate newbies even more. They are allowed to exist by the forum administrator so that all their garbage stays in one place. Learn to love the The Peng Challenge from a distance, for it will be with you always, and it will always be on page one. Treeburst155 out. Treeburst155 replied to Treeburst155's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
OK, put down the CMBB demo and get back to the western front! The war in the east has done just fine without you so far. Boots & Tracks has just about finalized the three scenarios for the playoffs. These three scenarios will fill your time nicely until the full CMBB gets to you. Let's finish what we've begun here. Lots of people are already done, and counting on you so we can score this thing. THANKS!! Fight On!! Treeburst155 out. -
